We don't need any experts to tell us who is the best. You tell us who was the best.

My opinions:

AL MVP
1. M. Cabrera
2. C. Davis
3 M. Trout
It's not even close.

NL MVP
1. McCutcheon
2. H. Ramirez
3. Y. Molina

He led Pitt to postseason. That is no small accomplishment. If HanRam had a full season his numbers may have eclipsed Cabrera. Everyone was talking about Puig, but Ramirez was playing even better. He has missed so many games that his numbers would have roughly been doubled. But it just wan't enough games to give him the nod. Molina has been under the radar, but what he has done has been superb.

AL Cy Young
1. M Scherzer
2. Y. Darvish
3. H. Iwakuma

Again, not even close. Darvish was really good but MS is the most underrated stud pitcher I've seen in awhile. HI has a great record on a bad team.

NL Cy Young
1. C. Kershaw
2. J. Fernandez
T3. M. Harvey
T3. A. Wainwright

Kershaw will win the ERA title for the third straight year. Unreal. I have seen him struggle with command and only give up a run or two. Early in the year esp. he should have sued for non-support. Even when the Dodgers started hitting, it was the pitchers who kept them in the games. My runner-ups all had some issues. Strasburg had to be the most unsupported P in the game. It was so bad, that he doesn't even belong on the list. He had some issues inthe first innings earlier in the year and the Nats just didn't hit when he was on the mound. As bad as the Marlins were, Fernandez was able to overcome the lack of hitting. When he pitched the Marlins won like twice as many games as they lost. When he didn't pitch they lost more than twice what they won. Harvey's season got cut short or he may have finished 2nd IMM. Wainwright hasn't pitched well lately or he may have finished 2nd.

AL ROY
1. W. Myers
2. J. Iglesias
3. C. Archer

IMM it wasn't close. Myers was hands down the best.

NL ROY
1. J. Fernandez
2. Y. Puig
3. H. Ryu

I know everyone is shocked by this coming from a die hard Dodgers fan, but my thoughts on JF are in the NY Cy ranking. Puig has been great and combined with HanRam changed the Dodgers fortunes. Puig has come back to earth a little, but it is more JF's dominance than YP's that got him the nod. Ryu has quietly come on to pitch really well. Gyorko was too up and down to make this list.

AL MOY
1. T. Francona
2. Bob Melvin
3. John Farrell

The Indians has almost 100 losses last year. They bring in Francona and some FAs but he really helped them come together. They are still in a fight for the postseason entering the last weekend of the season. The As and Red Sox also played better than I thought they would.

NL MOY
1. Clint Hurdle
2. Fredi Gonzalez
3. Don Mattingly

It's Hurdle and it's not even close. They are inthe playoffs and that right there wins the award. Hard to vote for Mattingly when he could have easily been fired with their horrible start. Sure there were injuries, but there were a lot of bad decisions and the GM shares some of those bad choices. There were guys on the team who shouldn't have been in the majors--let alone starting. There were minor leaguers who should have been up and starting. But when he finally pulled the trigger in June, the Dodgers went nuts. The reason I put him at 3rd over Matheny was because he has to at least get some of the credit for the amazing comeback. I am not high on Fredi, but at least he was steady and the team just wins.
