I will then generate a set of random numbers to assign in a column next to this list. When I then sort the list, the resulting order will be used for our draft position selection round.

For audit purposes, I'll have an email of the random numbers sent directly to youngroman and Dave R. We'll use the top set on that list (generated at random.org)

      Tue, Mar 07, 2017, 14:17 		In my initial invitation email, I mentioned that we should plan to start drafting around March 15.

Last year, we opened the draft on the evening of March 14, and finished at the end of March 28.

Two years ago, the draft ran from March 16-30.

I'd like to aim to finish by March 29, which is the Wednesday before the season opener (Sunday). That gives a few days to accommodate delays, draft processing, waivers, etc.

So, I think I'll stick with that time frame, probably activating the draft on the evening of March 14. We'll do the first round untimed, and then revert to the usual 4-hour clock (with an 8-hour overnight moratorium.)

If anyone has a potential issue with that time frame, please speak up now.
