Congrats to me, winner of the 2018 RIBC. I thought I had won the RIBC once before, but I scanned through the RotoGuru Hall of Fame, and don't see it listed. I have won the RIHC and RIFC before, so I guess this completes the career trifecta. So there's that.

A few post-season duties remain:

1. RIBC managers may post a recap of their season, if they wish. What worked well, what went wrong, what would you do differently the next time, and what did you learn?

2. I'd appreciate it if someone from each of the qualifying leagues would send me a link to their final standings. I'll post them in a separate thread. (If your team names do not easily identify the related team manager, please provide those linkages as well.)

3. If there were any managers in any league who failed to live up to standards in behavior or activity level, I'd like to know about it. Bad behavior is never tolerated. Failing to follow through for the season can also be grounds for declining an invite to the RIBC or a AAA league, depending on circumstances. Rather than publicly "ratting out" any other manager in this thread, I suggest that you send me a confidential email.

Thanks to everyone for a great season.

Final congrats to Guru on a great season.
I managed to pull off the mirror image season, with a masterful performance to secure 16th place in RIBC. Nearly got the moral victory of 15th, but couldn't quite break free from that black cloud that followed me around most of the year!

Bumgarner and Turner injured shortly after drafting. Early picks too. Arenado starts cold and gets suspended early. He recovered to carry the offense at least. My really good feelings about Zunino, Castillo, Duffy, Holland, etc were way off base. Dropped Bud Norris when the Cards signed Holland only made it worse! Streamed through Profar early, Dereck Rodriguez later on, and a few other solid players slipped right through my fingers. Drafted Duffy over Snell according to my recap. Having Castillo and Duffy start so poorly with Bumgarner hurt and a trash bullpen really ruined any attempt at a heavy bullpen strategy early.
Moments in late May and early June where my team had a total of 6 points in the pitching categories. Didn't have much for trade bait. Just had to stream like crazy and hope for the best. No such luck.
Kept Desmond for a few months of garbage and of course he went on fire when I gave up hope and dropped him.
Time after time, if there was a choice to be made, I would choose wrong.
Not sure what those gut feelings were, but they certainly weren't any help with my baseball strategy this year!
Back down to the minors to try to learn some more lessons!
Thanks to the fellow RIBC competition for making it tough to dig out of my hole, and Guru for running this.
Cheers all.
