Draft has been released and the league has been activated at ESPN.
If there are any roster discrepancies, please speak up now. So far, I've heard nothing.
All undrafted players are now on waivers, and will clear early Saturday morning.

Can anyone help me figure out how to put a player on the IL? I can't seem to get either Gallen or Rosenthal to the IL. The IL slot shows up under my hitters - not sure if that means anything. When I go to tomorrow's rosters, and click on Gallen, my only choice is to move him to the bench.
Thanks.

There is a link in the upper right that says "Manage IL". (on the same line as the Set Lineup: dates)
Click on that.

The RIBC league summary page is up: http://rotoguru1.com/base/RIBC.html
You can also get there by click on the RIBC icon on the left panel of the RotoGuru home page.
Split standings (by date range) should be working. Use the link near the top of the RIBC page.
The daily lineup check is also available: http://dailybaseballdata.com/cgi-bin/rosterCheck.pl?league=84622
Often (but not always), my data feeds receive starting lineup data earlier than ESPN posts it, so this can be helpful when anticipating who in your lineup is or isn't starting.

Do you know how many games a player must play at a position before gaining eligibility in ESPN leagues?

I hereby grant clean-up hitter and runner-up to the 2020 RBI title, Marcell Ozuna, permission to knock in runs this year.

62 IP now with an ERA of 6.86. If I was setting out to get an ERA that bad I don't think I could do it. And that's with Castillo, Flaherty, and May giving me 19 shutout innings on their last times out! Luzardo, you suck!

Meanwhile, I have a 3.44 ERA despite Fried being absolute garbage.

I guess that's what I get for having Lindor, Dom Smith, and Nimmo all on my roster. 8th postponed game of the season already! Man oh man.

The grass is always greener. I wish more of my hitter's games had been postponed because they are killing me every time they take the field. When play started this morning, I had four players with an OPS (Ozuna, Rizzo, Robles, and Dozier) that was lower than Nimmo's on-base percentage!
Please, weather gods, postpone all their games until they remember how to hit the ball.

I hear you. I have McCann, Alonso, and Conforto. A big reason Ive been in last place in runs is because half my team has played only half their games. At least with postponements you know they are going to make them up (but not get as many ab's because of the dumb 7 inning rule).

I have 6 of my drafted players left on my roster who have been injury free thus far. It's only May 8! Barely over a month in. Gonna be a long, long season.

Going to float a trade offers... but if it is rejected, will float to others.... looking for 3B or OF that can give SLG/RBI help and maybe a mid range closer, and my second overall pick Bauer - who can be an ace on your staff - will be the trade bait.

With the addition of Alex Dickerson, I can now field an entire team of hurt players (absent a catcher - too bad Omar Narvaez was activated from the DL 2 days ago, or I would've really had an accomplishment here): 1B - Eric Hosmer (COVID IL) 2B - Brendan Rodgers (IL) SS - Did Gregorius (DTD) 3B - Hunter Dozier (7-day concussion IL) OF - Kole Calhoun (IL) OF - Alex Dickerson (IL) OF - Enrique Hernandez (IL) SP - Zac Gallen (IL)

Only had 7 guys playing tonight but still managed to pick up two more injuries. I apologized to my dad for Bader. That makes 22 so far by my count. And the ones who haven't gotten hurt, in most cases I'd be better off if they had. Starting to wonder if there's an explanation for all the injuries and .150 batting averages. Did these guys screw up their training regimens that bad last year? Crazy.

I would love to be writing a weekly write up of the league and checking in on how players are doing but this damn virus has stopped killing so many people. Seems that if you get vaccinated you don't get the disease. Hmm. That has caused me to have to work a whole lot more than I did in the last year. Damn responsibilities. I guess I can just make quick observations - Juan Soto, you are making my second overall pick look foolish. Start hitting the ball!

I could've thrown darts at a random collection of players and drafted a better offense than what I have.

Now that you have seen what the market is for starting pitchers, I will beat that. I have too many arms, willing to trade two arms for one of your batters. Unless you are JeffG or Mikulka, you NEED my arms.

from what I have gathered in the past few years, Trevor is also a narcissist and a nasty troll with few if any admirable traits outside of his ability to throw a baseball. That looks like an understatement right at the moment. Doing his very best to ruin baseball and consensual S&M. 🤬

Great weekend. Lindor to IL with dreaded oblique. Cooper getting an MRI done, elbow. Fraley to IL. Rendon was supposedly coming off the DL after the break but now it's sounding like 2 more weeks. Arroyo left the game with something that doesn't sound good at all. Just brutal.
Anyone want to offer anything for any of these guys? Middle infielder or third baseman preferably.

I seem to have an excess of SB, and am willing to trade some in return for other hitting stats - particularly OBP and SLG. Anyone is available for the right price. Inquire within - davehall@rotoguru2.com

Looking to trade pitchers for hitters. Send me an offer or email. This includes any of my starters and also Iglesias if you need saves (he's been one of the best this season. Trade deadline is approaching so don't drag your feet too long.

Nicely done Mikulka - what a beat down. Is 151 points (out of 160 max) an RIBC record??
Great job to all those ahead of me.... I never stopped fighting and digging out of the hole I put myself in early.
Hope we find a way to continue this in 2022... If so, I will be back in RIBC-AAA trying to earn a promotiona again.
