I thought better of it and turned the clock off for now. I'm eager to get this draft moving along but Jeff is right we can't have people missing their first picks, and while I did post about starting at noon today it wasn't a sure thing until it was.
The clock WILL start again tomorrow at noon ET.

To my fellow players and online friends:
Because of health issues, I cannot participate in fantasy baseball leagues this year. My apologies for letting you know this close to the beginning of the season, but I truly thought that I would be able to play. Unfortunately that has proved not to be the case. Perhaps football in the fall or baseball in 2024. Good luck to all of you. It has been fun!!

I'd prefer not to have double-managers as it makes a bit of a mess of qualifying. Unfortunately at this point I don't think we have a choice. For now, since it's really late tonight, I'll stop the draft and we can sort this tomorrow.

soooo sorry guys ... I had an unexpected birthday party (with no 4G coverage) that I had to attend to and my routine got thrown off. When I got back home I forgot about the draft. Now I see that the draft is stopped and I cannot pick, while in past years I remember I could pick while draft was stopped.
I take the yellow card!!!
P.s. I am from Italy, so I have a six hours difference... anyway in past years I missed very fewpicks, and not in the first rounds...

I sent an email to Fred asking how we can switch out managers in Draftime. I'm guessing he will have to reset everything to pre-draft status.
In the meantime I will get KDL set up in Yahoo.

Fun facts about baseball of yore while we wait for the draft - Moyer had a career 5.4k/9 rate. Greg Maddux = 6.06k/p; Tom Glavine = 5.3k/p.

Hey folks,
Just letting you know that I will be traveling starting tomorrow at 2pm EDT through Sunday evening, so I might be slow to deal with anything if it comes up. Not sure if it's drafttime or what. I have been leaving a queue and sometimes it's picking and sometimes not. Also I have not been getting emails when it's my turn until hours after. Like I just got the email and it's been my pick for 2 hours. Anyone else having this issue?

It would be fabulous if we could have this wrapped up on Friday but in order to do so we need to pick up the pace. The easiest way to do that is for more of you to use Auto-Pick. Let’s do this. SZ

Nerf - I'd like to suggest we shorten the clock to two hours. There are a handful of managers who never, ever use auto-pick nor pipe up in here about delays so it seems the only way to get this draft moving in a timely fashion is to shorten the clock.
