LarryF 13. 14. 15. 16. *UNSURE* filthyrich *ONLY TO FILL A LEAGUE* JeffG AAA No response yet VampireWeekend I think most favor Yahoo, so we'll be running Yahoo for this league. I am not a fan of adding burdens to the commish duties, so we are going to use Yahoo defaults for league setup. Therefore, Ohtani is going to be two players. Adjust fire accordingly. We may get additional managers from the RIBC major league. So, we aren't ready for choosing our draft order until we know exactly how many managers we are going to have and who they are. The first orders of business are to set a schedule of events, and to make sure we have everyone on board. You'll find a schedule in the next post. Following that, I'd like you all to sound off with "IN" or "OUT" to let me know that you are still planning to play, and that you plan to pay attention to this thread by visiting it daily through the preseason. Fall asleep during the season is frowned on, but its even more important that you stay engaged through the preseason. Your absence may prohibit us from finishing on time. You will receive an e-mail from draftordergenerator.com shortly. This will be the order we select our draft position in. You may not have gotten it if I mistyped your address, but that should be the only reason. As long as one person other than me got it, this order will stand. I have started the draft. You can set queues now. You'll note that the player data base has just one Ohtani, the DH. If you want the pitcher, you'll have to add him when it is your turn. Same goes for any other player not in the data base. Can't queue added players. There is a daily pause midnight to 8 AM ET, in which you can pick, but the clock is paused. There will be no clock until Monday at 8 AM ET. After that there is a 4 hour clock, and I hope to not have to reduce that time throughout the draft. Of course, that depends on how fast we are drafting. If you are wondering, proper etiquette is to still do your best to keep your pick time to 4 hours or less, even while there is no clock on 3 MAR. If you see any issues with the draft set up, let me know ASAP. Play Ball | ||||||

I just checked out the League Settings Max Games Played: No maximum Not that I ever come close to hitting the max anyway, but I thought we capped the hitters to 162 innings per position. Last year the setting was Max Games Played: 162 | ||||||

I simply copied the RIBC settings from last year when setting up the league. I think they were fixed about this same time last year too. Perhaps it just copied the original settings, and not the corrected settings. Anyway, it's fixed. Thanks Jeff | ||||||
