In my quest for a Guru Jr. nomination this week I needed to refresh my memory and found alot of Bizarro things going on around here. Here's a recap: h Terrence Long pulled a "Marcia Brady" and missed a few games to have some "dental work" done. This on top of the eyeball ulcers (OUCH) he suffered earlier in the season. 
 In other dental news, MajikMan66 and Great One each had all four of their wisdom teeth pulled on the same day and due to heavy medication showed symptoms of SmallWorld odd trading.
The week was dominated by a series of imposters as well as a number of new PIMPS challenging Pink for his corner. Blue, Green and Purple each staked out their turf while luring us to come work for them. "All you other Slim Shadys are just imitating So won't the real Slim Shady...Please stand up, Please stand up, Please stand up"Once the new kids on the block learn of walk's stamina he'll be the prize. ;-) With one of the better threads of the year and all the gurupies who contributed to it I'm pretty sure we'll continue to think Pink. Put Randy and Pedro to work for money and points  philliephan boldly went where no gurupie has gone before and discovered the reason for the "odd trading" recently. Apparently there is an anti-gurupie collective out there calling itself the BORG who's sole purpose is to confuse us by creating disturbances such as the "Tom Glavine Anomoly." Odd Trading
Don Mathis made a brief appearance to "assure" us that "the algorithm is working as designed" and in the process proved philliephan's theory. Thanks to the crack staff of statistical gurus around here "outside quality control" will continue to demand answers. During his visit to the planet Gurup, Don discovered a new lifeform known in the Bizarro SmallWorld as a Gurupian. 
Fisk27 ignited a great H2H Smackdown between Yankees and Red Sox fans. For those of you who couldn't make it here's the way it ended (as usual):

Wow, a nomination for me? I am touched, really. I feel badly because I haven't been participating much on the boards lately. I managed to talk my employer into paying for my MCSE training, so I am in the middle of studying and classes, etc. etc. I even had to code the Standings spreadsheet to run by itself at noon so it would be ready to post when I get home.
