J,
Any chance you could rework this to give us a view of who the masses are picking?

J- are you running some sort of program that is allowing you to do this at such a fast rate. Cause the hand (slow as hell) way was taking forever.

how come Ohka isnt on the list? I thought he was some big "sleeper"?? or is he one of the #1's of each position missing?
thanks Matt S

Pimp - huh? Isn't that what Richard's Thread did?
Do you want me to post a table with em back to back comparing? I can do that pretty easily.
sandloren - yes. Richard created a program to download team info from. Took about 15-20 minutes to get the 184 teams I used.

OK, I did a little table showing "Percent of Rosters"...The reason for all the "#N/A"s is because I dont have all of Richards data. He only posted the top however many at each position (just like I did). So, just because a player says "#N/A" doesn't necesssarily mean he was owned by 0 teams. Also of note, Richard got his data aboot 2 weeks ago.

RICHARD!- I would love to see data on what the current numbers are for non-gurupies players owned. If anyone could do this it would be sweet. Thanks guys, this stuff is very good reading.

It's nice to see that the percentage of random for rollins is pretty low. Suprised to see Beltran so high on both random and guru.
J or Richard--I would love to get a look at that program. It would be interesting to see how you did it.

J, actually what I was looking for is a set of comparative data taken from a random sample of teams at the current time. As we near the start of the season I suspect that the lemming numbers will be very different from the ones that Richard found on 3/09.
I'm not asking you to steal Richard's thunder as I have made the same request in his thread, but Richard said he was going to be busy and might not be checking in so I thought I'd ask if you could post some numbers based on a random sample of current rosters.
Thanks again for the Gurupie numbers though!

another thought what would be really cool would be a three column table by percentage of ownership sorted based on Random Current.
Random Current * Random 3/9 * Gurupie

Rollins sucking it up 2-30 or something. Won't leap out of the SW gate IMO. Going with Lugo at SS.
Check out Sanders with Seatlle. Bruner is out and Sanders is hot and starting. All for 500k.

Rollins is currently hitting .283 with 3 homers and 3 SB. What does he have to do to 'leap out of the SW gate'?
