      Fri, Oct 27, 09:26 		Somewhat ironic, my mulligan team finished with 1727 and would have gotten me the same ranking of 3rd. But my real team only had 1 P left (Clemens), the mulligan team had Clemens, Hampton, & Hernandez. I think I'm more proud of this team which began the playoffs with Maddux & Ankiel.

I set up a SW postseason team jeffg-NYY comprised only of Yankees. It finished right above KevinL's mulligan team. It had 1729 points lending credence to the theory that someone raised in the strategy thread, saying that you should enroll 8 SW teams, one per post season team. It yields great results for the team that goes all the way.

Interestingly, I also set up a SW postseason team jeffg-WS which I accumulated trades but did not draft a team until the last day of the LCS. That team scored nearly 1000 points in just five post season games thanks to decent numbers by most of the 10 starters.

      Fri, Oct 27, 13:03 		I am primarily a "lurker", but also an occasional poster here at Rotoguru.com. My Playoff Team, Cardsters, finished with a WWR of 2. I never "registered" my team with you guys to include it in your standings.

I do have a question. I am not certain that I gave my correct mailing address when I signed up my team at Smallworld. Do you know if there is a way to check it at the site??? When I click "My Account" the only thing that it allows me to do is Change my Password.

Gotta make sure that they send the DVD Player to the right address??!!

      Fri, Oct 27, 15:47 		thanks everyone for the kind words. It has been a good day for me ;) This is the first time I have placed in the top hundred and qualified for a prize. I was at 155 yesterday and I did not know if I had a chance to jump up to the top 100, I did however have both pitchers going. So many people ahead of me had Rivera so I figured when he got the save I would not move to the top 100.

Perm Dude I am on early everyday but I can not post the standings because I have to wait for the price changes. today I did not have to do that and the wait was killing me :)

jumpball you caught me... the real reason I won is that I added a little thing to multiply all my scores by 2. And you think I do the standings for the fun of it ;)

This team was also started a day late. I was one who had Maddux and ankiel so I figured I did not have a chance with that team.

I would also like to say thanks to all the chatroom guys for there help, I could not have done so well without there input and there all around baseball knowledge. The chatroom rules!!!

congratulations, Philflyboy. I can't remember a Gurupie final standings that didn't have at least one person in the top 100. For that matter, I can't think of a Gurupie final standings that didn't have about 25 or 30 Gurupies in the top 100.

Well, better luck next fall, sports fans. And Thanks for keeping us from being shut out, Philflyboy. You are more than deserving of the No. 1 spot.
