      Wed, Feb 13, 2002, 12:00 		Since it seems we're waiting I've got a couple of questions about playing the season (sorry guys, you're working with a rookie here).
Once our teams are picked and pre season begins, what happens?
Say Ivan get spiked on the first play of spring training and will be out for 4 months? I grab a guy from the bench, put him in my catcher spot and he starts getting points.
Now, I'm out a player, with a man on the injured list. Do I get draft somebody who has not yet been picked to replace him, or am I stuck?
Also, the bench. Say I submit my lineup and Alou for one reason or another is listed on my bench. Do I still get credit for his at bats?
Like I said, I'm a rookie. Absolute very first time around, so I'm still trying to get a handle on some of the finer rules here. Figure a lull in the action is a good time to ask.

if we do it in a yahoo league:
im pretty sure the commish can decide whether you can put 1 or 2 people on the injured reserve list. this would allow you to put irod on this, so you wouldnt have to waive him, and also pick up another player off the free agent/waivers list.
also, you have to submit a lineup for each day. if you dont make changes, then it will be the same lineup that carries over from day to day. if anyone is on your bench, you will not be credited with their stats. im not sure, but i think you have to set a day's lineup before 11:59 pm the previous night.

of course, i think you can run yahoo league's however you want. if we were so inclined to disallow free agent pickups of any kind, we could do that i believe.

If it is, I'll work somethign out. Perhaps I'll just have to email my roster and changes to the commish each day. That is something we can deal with if/when the time comes up.

Remember guys - Valentine's Day - maybe we should take tomorrow nite off anyway, or we might all end up in the dog house
