It helps when your players actually play, Tree, rather than sit out with injuries or suspensions. But hey, that’s what makes this all so fun. ;)

I was also gone for 5 days during the exact same time frame as Pete. At least we're back on top again...for now. Obviously we'd like to be on top in combined stats too, but since those aren't official, we're not concerning ourselves with that.

well, if second is in our reach, then so is first.

i'm in second place in the AL, and it's a dogfight for the top spot, but everytime i get close, mr. flowermound pulls ahead by a couple of points....

i think we need help - other teams have to knock some points off the top dogs...

but hey, anything is possible. :o)

Thanks Mike. That doesn't happen often. I usually choke late in the year it seems. And, perhaps I did again this year. Even though I won the NL by 10 points, that last 2 points I lost on the final day (.5 in Wins and 1.5 in ERA) appears to have cost us the championship. Oh well.
