Ok gang. Made it real easy. Just post your rationales in this thread. In the evenings, I'll transfer them in order to the rationale thread. The rationales here do not have to be in order, but please post when we are about 2 rounds after the pick you are rationalizing was made.
Your rationale should include the pick number, player, position, and team. You should write a brief reasoning, and can feel free to post season projections and of course trash other players you considered, or mention other managers who made lousy picks or curse them for just staeling your sleeper.
Here is a sample.
1.02 Babe Ruth, OF, NYY
A no brainer, this guy has pop. Can't believe Species just picked that Cobb guy while the Bambino was still on the board. I project he will score 130+ runs, and drive in 130+. etc etc. blah blah......
To quote Guru on rationale guidelines
With the lag, most comments should not have an impact on the draft in progress. However, if there are aspects of your pick that you feel need to be kept under wraps, feel free to protect that information. In particular, please avoid mentioning the names of any players who are still undrafted at that time of the post. |

In the other RIBC he went anywhere from round 8-12 with 10 being the average.
Just couldn’t afford to pass him up at this point in the draft.
He has had a very good spring and he should be getting SS eligible within the first two weeks.
His average was a little low last year but he produced well in the other 4 Cats for a MI.

It was from Robocop and it was the name/tagline of a TV show.
The old man was a Benny Hill type guy who always had a couple of blondes on each arm.
