Here are the final standings:

1.Rand/Andy 89.5
2.Barilko 73.5
3.Tree 73
3.allhair 73
5.Unemployed 58
6.GF 57
7.wiggs 56.5
8.WG 53
9.Khahan 48
10.Rev 40.5
11. PD 38

The only question I have is did allhair ever use a prospect in which stats were earned? Just a reminder that the draft will be in inverse order of this year's finish.

Good season everyone. A good lesson for me to diversify my pitching next year... too many redundant arms across my teams, and they all blew up big time down the stretch...

rev, the answer to your question is no, but it's not like I didn't try to snag some stats with just about everyone else's... :)

RIP, Rand.

Thanks for the kudos guys. Obviously all congrats are due Rand. Heck, if I'm able to win anytime in the next several years it's probably only because of the team he managed to put together. Either way, it will be fun trying. Looking forward to next year.

Congratulations to Rand's team. This season was a bit hectic for me with a new job started last year and not nearly as much time devoted to playing. With that said, I hate to sound like I was not paying attention at all this year, but did we lose a manager? I saw a post about replacing him the other. Blackjack is taking over a team? If so, welcome aboard.

to me, it's an astonishing, and touching story.

granted, it's "only" fantasy sports, but for many of us this is one our hobbies that takes up most of our time, and for him to win the league on his way out is a really great thing.

Sorry Khahan - I meant to (and thought I did, but see that I did not) post a link to the thread in the hoops forum in the gurukeepers thread. My bad.

Allhair....losing Salty to 8 at bats. So close. If the threshold was just 310, you'd have another year to know if he's a keeper or not.

I made a mistake, on Stewart, you drafted him in 2005 and thus his 3 year prospect time limit has elapsed, though he can still be redrafted since he fits all other criteria.

Hey guys,
I'm looking over my potential keeper list (football really only keeps me busy Fri-Mon) and would like to a front line,Ace quality starter. I think I have quite a bit to offer including a top pitching prospect in return (hochevar) and the rights to a top young hitting prospect who already has some stats to show he can hit (Justin Upton). Not to mention the fact that my keeper level players include

List A: BJ Upton, Chase Utley, Carlos Zambrano, Alfonso Soriano, Grady Sizemore, Hanley Ramirez

along with other nice young potential keepers and guys who just had down 2007's but may bounce back:
List B: Delmon Young, Adrian Gonzalez, Jermaine Dye.

I think I have pieces to deal for damn near anybody. So if you are looking to expand your own keeper list for 2008 or trade up/down some guys, shoot me an offer. I'd like a top starter and/or draft picks. Unless I'm getting a big upgrade at hitting (IE: A-rod, Pujols level player) I'm not interested in acquiring more hitters.

Trying to get some activity going here in the off season. I can't believe 100% of everybody is satisified with their keeper list.

Also open to talking - interesting pieces would include:

J. Mauer
C. Crawford
C. Beltran
D. Jeter
R. Howard
D. Wright
J.J. Putz
S. Kazmir

Joba Chamberlain and F. Cordero probably don't make it as keepers in this league, but they'd be available pretty cheap if someone thought otherwise.

Not really looking to add, but would consider a top 2B or upgrade at SS. Of my list above, I probably consider Mauer, Putz and Kazmir most expendable.

I'll probably reach out to individuals later but wanted to throw my hat in the ring.
