Alternately we could post a few rounds worth of draft matrix at a time in the other thread rather than the full 20+... like 3-5 rounds at a time or something... and update it periodically as we move down through the thread.

Please be mindful of your place in the draft and do not pick out of place. Its happened twice and so far it hasnt been much of an issue but if you skip a pick the owner you skipped will have the right to take your player.

This is ridiculous, Post 25 said no clock then the rule was changed, and I never saw it. I think that is something that should be emailed or something. I was away alot this weekend and couldnt check that a rule was Changed.

So we have a serious problem. When trying to enter teams I realized its done via the offline draft. I cannot do the offline draft without all the mangers registered, and Art failed to register his team before leaving for vacation.
We cannot wait for him to return since he is not coming back until the 31st. I sent him an email but he might not have access. I can wait until Sunday to enter teams, but if he does not register my only recourse is to register for him using one of my own yahoo accounts.

Hello,
Would someone mind taking a look at my contracts and give me some feed back, before I send them in.
Should I be leaving some room for FA pick ups.
If I want to drop someone from my roster and pick up a FA. What is the cost?

If you want to sign a player to 1-year and drop a player signed to a 1-year contract, the cost is a net $1.50. It cost $1.50 to drop the player, and you replace his $1 contract with another. Obviously, if you want to drop a player with a larger contract it is going to cost more: ($/years*1.5).
Alternatively, there are also two DL slots in which case you could pick up a player for $1 while putting another on the DL. Just be mindful that Yahoo is sketchy about keeping unhurt players on the DL.
You also dont necesarrily want to claim a player for just $1. There might be some magnificient free agent out there that you really want, so you might put a claim in for a 2-year contract. Someone could outclaim you by putting in for a 3-year contract. Last year there was quite a bidding war for James Shields - Bossman ended up getting him for 3 years.

I am confused what the numbers at the bottem of the contract sheets mean. I know the top number is for total contract years, but what is the number under that.

The top number is the total contract years you currently have allocated... the bottom number is the minimum total contract years you'd have if you filled out the remainder of your roster with $1 players.

Yes in future years as long as you get it at or below 82 before you get there.
