0 Subject: 2008 Rob Minniti Classic Prospect Draft Thread

The draft officially starts this Wednesday at noon, although picks may be made before then if a manager is up and knows who he wants to take. There will be four rounds. There won't be a time limit but I'd like to get through the draft in reasonably prompt fashion.

The draft order is the same as the primary draft:
Holt
Toral
Perm Dude
Alex
Mith
Mike DeVaul
Want2CDs
Wiggs
MikeV
Nando
MJD
Boldwin

Also, the following prospect draft eligible players have been selected the primary draft or picked up as free agents in Yahoo, so they are already owned and officially off-limits:
Jacoby Ellsbury, Michael Bourn, Joey Votto, Adam Jones, Justin Upton, Geovany Soto, Daric Barton, Cameron Maybin, J.R. Towles, Chase Headley, Kosuke Fukudome, Evan Longoria, Clay Buchholz, Manny Parra, Joba Chamberlain, Ian Kennedy, Kazuo Fukumori, Hiroki Kuroda.


Please precede your pick with the round and selection number and follow it with the player's position and the organization he playes with, be it a major league franchise (including it's minor league affiliates) a college, a foreign league or a high school. For example:
