Looking for a Fight has a slim lead over WG. WG was #1 for a majority of the first half, but has since faded. The latest 9-1 record got them close. After the top two it gets rather crowded. 7.5 games separate #3 from #6 with Wiggs being only 1.5 games from a playoff spot.
I wanted to do a write up on each team, but Yahoo is doing maintenance in the middle of the day. So no dice... Good luck to all in the second half!!! |

Geez, I get no credit for climbing up from the depths to creep right behind the #3-#6 pack.
Have lost just once in the last 9 weeks! The pitching is coming through and even though Tulo is a wimpy douche who keeps getting hurt, Pedroia, Gonzo and Kazmir have been stars for P.C.!

Yes you've had a nice run here so far, the second half is key. Last year we had some teams fade in the second half... I know some teams purposely draft and keep players who get hot in the second half... so it should be interesting.

It would be pretty interesting to have a football league in a similar format... It would obviously be less work, let me see what I can come up with though and maybe we can get some interest. I'm in 3 leagues already.

Guys the football standings thread wont let me start a new thread advertising our league... someone want to do it????
For those of you who don't know NBBL is a baseball league I run, it's a pretty unique keeper league with contracts, a year cap, RFA and FA drafts and auctions, etc.... We are in our second year now and I've had nothing but compliments on the format.
Because of its success and many requests from my baseball owners we've started a football league in the same image... I present to you NBFL.
Please take a look at the rules, the draft will be soon. We need 3 owners.... If you have any questions, please email me... There are yearly dues of $25 all of which is used to pay prizes.
