the first team to 100 runs/rbi (barely), including the RIBC league.
Too bad I have 3 starters with a WHIP north of 1.7 and a closer on the DL. Really wishing I had gone Lilly instead of Conor Jackson, and Phil Hughes instead of middle relief, but those are the breaks.

Hey, whoever is managing the Pirates, for the love of all things great and baseball, just forfeit tonight and NEVER EVER put Octavio in a non-save situation, you MORON!

any interest in Pelfrey? or 2 struggling hitters like JD Drew and Hafner?
Not sure what I'm looking for in return, but I'm not expecting top talent, just perhaps a change of scenery.

Anyone want to try to pry John Lackey away from me at his "buy low" point? Interested in a middle infielder.

I have Podsednik and Gardner. Looking to trade one of them (+ more?) for a top starter.

quiet indeed. Nice to go away for a few days with no tv/radio/internet/newspaper. Even nicer to come back to a team in first place. Now that I'm watching again, though, I'm certain it won't last.

Made a couple offers, and would entertain others, involving Andy Pettitte, Colby Lewis and JD Drew. Looking primarily for another bat.

An amazing five wins and 36 K's on the last day. Nicely done.

I never thought I'd be thanking Jeff Suppan and Mark Rpsklnakjdcaisjhsdy for critical October innings, but they gave me an unexpected final push after Gallardo and Lester tried to give it away earlier in the week.
Remarkable luck really.
Awesome league. quiet, but great fun. Can't thank you guys enough for letting me play.
