It is time. I know we've all been chomping at the bit, so lets get this party started.

First thing to bring up for me is I now have a full time job. This will squash the ability to sit online for 12+ hours a day pushing queues along. I expect each and every one of you guys to do a little extra this year and be sure to fill your queues, have a designated picker and always try to do your best to keep us informed of when your going to be unavailable. I say this every year, we never use a clock and we always finish early. Just respect each other and keep us informed.
Next, I now have a 'league site' up on my website. The link is here: http://www.necroto.com/rotoaki/. This will be a place to go to check serier points, rules, prior years statistics, contact information and any generic stuff regarding drafting. The rosters will be kept at Yahoo so I didn't see a need to bring them over. Once we post our keepers, they will be there also. If you guys want anything added, please ask. That link will remain live year round. Anyone who would like to add contact info, chat ids, or mother in laws phone numbers in Pakistan, for the ease of drafting, email it to me and I will add it to the contact page.
That brings us to this upcoming year, 'Series 1 - Season 3'. The first important thing to remember is there will only be 5 Keepers this year. I would like to draft on Friday, March 18th at 6pm. But, most of you know that I try to set it up a few days before that once the keepers are all declared. So be prepared to start moving the day after keepers are declared, which I'm proposing for Tuesday, March 15th, 10pm, listed on the RotoGuru page, here. Direct all league orient conversation topics there.
One issue which hasn't been brought up until now is tie breakers. This year we have a tie that needs breaking and I'm looking for democratic solutions. I'd rather not settle this with a coin flip. I would like it to be something more results/incentive based. I'm looking for ideas, please throw some out on the Guru page as all will be considered.
Next issue, is MJD has been a beta tester for a new draft software. He gives it a serious thumbs up, but I will invite him to explain it to you. WIth his beta test, he was garnered a free draft, which he has graciously saved for our upcoming season. Unless there is a reason not to, this sounds good to me and we will likely not be drafting with Kafenatid this year.
If anyone has an idea for rules changes or thoughts on how to better this league, I'm all ears. Now is the time, so lets hear it.

I think I like most improved from last year, even if its the first year of a series. I like to keep this an incentive laiden split.
Knowing we would have to cross this bridge eventually... Second tie break is Series Points ala Taxman's idea... Third tie break is coin flip.

Hey Golf, First, Taxman told us as soon as we started discussing dates that he would be away from a computer from Friday night thru Monday night. Second, we've never had or needed a clock. We are still way ahead of schedule.
I will be getting on a flight at 3:30 EST and landing roughly 8:30-ish tonight. I should be back online by 9pm or so. I should be online frequently once I get to the conference in Phoenix. I left a queue for whenever Tax picks and will have all of my sheets with me in the hotel.
