Welcome back to Season 9 of the PSFL.
Seven of the ten managers from last season have returned. New Managers are TD, airallnite, and russelldl. Thanks a bunch to the three departing managers. It was great to have you!
The defending champs are the Kokeshis.
The draft will again be held at www.draftime.com (formerly kafenatid.net). Info has not been mailed yet, but keep checking your inbox. I will get it sent soon.
Week 1 is an extended scoring period - March 28 - April 8.
Last year we started picking draft positions on March 2. Started the draft on March 8, started the clock on March 10 and finished on March 18. We can start the draft as soon as we settle the draft order.
We'll follow a similar schedule this year.
The first order of business is to select our draft order. I will follow the same process as last year, and use random.org three times to re-sort an alphabetical list. Once sorted, we can select our draft order. Details to come.
I'm looking forward to this season.

For a couple years now, we have had the rule that the last-place finisher pays the draftime.com fee the following season.
THANKS to Judy for already taking care of 2012. I wonder if she is planning to make a habit of it??

I sure hope not -- I was majorly distracted trying to win in G20...that is until September when 4 of my best got injured...

It's time to select our draft order.
I took the team names and alphabetized them. I used the Random Integer Generator three times, and re-sorted each time.

Getting these drafts over early will really help in the later rounds of RIBC, as we will have already researched a lot of the players.

Assuming we finish up the draft in the next few days ...
I am thinking about activating the league on Friday March 23. Waivers will go until 3/25 or 3/26. Games start (OAK/SEA) on 3/28 ... but the next AL games do not start until April 5.
This gives us a chance to evaluate Spring Training, and when we make our waiver claims, they will count for a little more. Free agency will run for the last 1.5 weeks of Spring Training.

I have entered the rest of the players onto teams. Please check for accuracy.
I will activate the league, and open waivers this Friday March 23. An email alert will be sent to everyone.
The winner of the least amount of clock time used is ... ME ... with a total time used of 04:51:55.
Judy used 7:58, but 5:51 of that was pick #1, day #1. So she really only used 2 hours, 7 minutes. And 19 auto-picks!

Correct. They add players from time to time and that's when they have to pass through waivers, so just keep an eye on the transactions list (under players, mlb roster changes, added).
