I say we make a real effort to get it done. We can set automatic picks if we know we may not be available. Since there is no daily pause some of us will need to do that when we sleep anyway. In my other league we moved to a 4 hour limit after round 5, which may help speed it up.

Last year's draft took 11 days, so this shouldn't be an issue. The first game is the 28th iirc.
Nonetheless I am in favor of a four-hour clock just to make sure things keep moving.

Can you unlock ESPN so we can pick up our players as we go? Makes it 10x easier to make picks since you can use their sort function.

Espn is still locked. Definitely getting to the point where it would help people out if we could use ESPN's search function to help find potential draftees.
Also, draftime has a sweet queue feature. Hopefully we can get some more people to try it out :)

I second on the queues. We need to be averaging better than 2 picks per manager per day. I have yet to make my first pick today.

Am I going to have to wait another 3 hours to make a pick? Fosten has timed out twice each of the last two rounds. Can something be done? This is the second time this has happened to me and my patience is wearing a little thin.

Does draftime have an option with the cumulative clock. I say if you go over 12 hours you should be auto skipped. Would encourage people to leave queues.

I share the frustration, and wish Fosten would take advantage of the software, but maybe there's something more important going on in his life.
Can't you just set a 2 person instant pick queue and be relieved of sitting at your computer waiting for your turn to come up or checking every 15 minutes? The result will be the same.
If we were closer to the start of games, this would be a bigger deal, no?

I'll set a queue up before I call it a night, sure. But that doesn't address the problem. While there may be other important things going on in his life, he still comes and makes his pick whenever and leaves no apology or explanation. Or queue apparently.
A simple communication goes a long way.
The bigger deal is that our projected finish has not moved off of that Mar. 28-29 window and we need to pick up the pace.

Draft admin can manually skip picks.
I thought there used to be a setting where somebody who times out get skipped until they pick and catch up but I cna't find it now.
Not suggesting you should or shouldn't skip at this point. Just letting ya'll know the utility is there.

gotta love a 120 minute delayed autopick in round 23, on a 3 hour clock. God forbid the computer automatically selects Chris Capuano when, upon a few minutes of careful reflection, you would have gone with Homer Bailey instead.
