Subject: Need new owner for Contracts keeper league

Looking for a new owner in a contracts keeper league. League is very different from normal leagues, has Restricted free agents, free agent draft, and pay for moves.
I'll have some owners post here about the league and I'm sure they'd agree it's the most fun and interesting league they are in.
The team you'd be taking over has a lot of young talent that is about to break out. Email me for details. |

When I say pay for moves, I mean each team is allocated $$ in the league to pay for moves, that money carries over season to season if you don't use it. So you can save money.
There is a $25 per season dues that goes to the winners.

I concur that its the most fun and interesting league that I'm in. Really makes you think about your team instead of just making a hundred add/drops like you do (or am I the only one?) in most leagues. When Matt says pay for moves he means you have a currency with which to do everything... sign players, bid on others, and make add drops. So essentially its a limited moves keeper league. Also, Matt is a really active commish who is always on top of all league matters.
Oh and your team will have Bryce Harper and Stephen Strasburg... what better building blocks are there for the future?

definitely a fun and interesting league. if you've done keeper leagues before, and are looking for a twist on them, this is the league for you.

I am also a league member sense the beginning of NBBL. I concur with everything said above.
If you are interested in a deep league, that you actually have to think about the ramifications of adding or dropping a player, instead of your usual basic league, where you add/drop the next big thing, this league works in a lot of different ways. Basically it's a easy league to learn, but not easy to master. This out of any keeper league I have EVER played in my 10+ years of fantasy sports is by FAR the closest thing to becoming a "real gm" of a team.
The members in the league are very active, the commish is on top of every move made. He keeps google docs of every transaction.
Is your normal keeper league during the off-season boring? nothing to do?
Not the NBBL. You have to resign your players, fit under the cap. Basically, you have to be smart about your team. Nobody is the "Yankees" in this league.
I know what I typed all sound like ALOT of work to do and a lot to comprehend, but once you join it really only takes a hour of so of reading to get a jest of how things are in the league.
And like WG posted above the team your taking over has Stasburg and Harper.... Pretty damn 2 good players right there to start with. The team also has other good players, but those where just examples.
I would like to also mention that it is a very helpful league. All the members in the league will help along any member in the league when it comes to rules. The league is full of rotoguru veterans that have been on these boards when rotoguru.com was the place to be. I assure you if ya decide to join this league you won't regret it.
