Welcome back to Season 10 of the PSFL! A full decade!
Dave R, WG, and myself have competed all 10 years. Thanks guys.
Nine of the ten managers from last season have returned. Judy has decided to concentrate on other leagues. A new manager has not been found yet, but I'm hoping that ksoze (from the NL-only) will move in. Thanks a bunch Judy. It was great to have you!
The defending back-to-back champs are the Kokeshis.
The draft will again be held at www.draftime.com . You should all be pre-registered. Go log in and check it out.
Week 1 begins on Sunday March 31, but only a couple AL teams play.
Last year we started picking draft positions on Feb 29. Started the draft on March 5, and finished on March 14. I don't recall if we even started the clock. We can start the draft as soon as we settle the draft order.
We'll follow a similar schedule this year.
Once we have manager #10 ... the first order of business is to select our draft order. I will follow the same process as last year, and use random.org three times to re-sort an alphabetical list. Once sorted, we can select our draft order. Details to come.

It's time to select our draft order.
I took the current team names and alphabetized them. I used the Random Integer Generator three times, and re-sorted each time.
The original list was -

Set 1: 7, 9, 5, 4, 10, 6, 8, 1, 2, 3

Attn All: For the first couple seasons, the Kokeshis were being managed by one guy. The past two seasons (Back-to-Back Championships) saw them shadow-managed by a different guy.
Anyways ... we are transferring ownership of the team to the new guy. So welcome to the Mighty Meadwads. May your reign of terror come to an end.

I spoke to the GreggoRomans last night and he was having some major difficulty logging into his draftime for the AL draft. Not sure if he forget his password or what the deal was, but he couldn't get in.
He created a new draftime username for the NL league (GreggoRomansNL) and that works fine but he didn't let Tosh know that he had to switch his AL username to GreggoRomansNL before the draft started.
I'm not sure if it's too late to remove GreggoRomans from the AL draft so he can register for the draft using GreggoRomansNL. If it's too late then I expect we're going to have a major delay in the AL league unless someone can figure out how to get him logged in.

I renewed the league, and everyone from last season was automatically in, using last years info.
He just needs to get his password at Drafttime. I cannot remove or edit him once the draft has started. The only other option is to restart everything fresh, which is a pain in the ass for everyone.
There is a 'contact' link at the bottom of the draftime page. There is also a 'forgot password' link at the top of the page.

And since he has two usernames now, he will want to use separate browsers for each league. Have NL open in Firfox. Have AL open in Chrome.
That way he won't have to log in and out 100 times per day.

That was certainly a quick draft. Thanks everyone!
There is still one player, Bartolo Colon (pick 18.05), that is not in the Yahoo database. All other players have been entered. Please check for accuracy.
I am hoping that Yahoo will add Colon soon. If so, I think we can "Start League" next Monday. If Colon has not been added, I might delay until Wednesday. If enough people want to delay any longer, we can.

I assume the issue with Colon is that the computers think he's at least 2 people based on his weight.
That being said, he's my husky pitcher and Im fine with just sticking a placeholder there until he's added.

The season has started. All players are on waivers.
Russelldl has been assigned 'Frank Herrmann' as a placeholder for Colon. As always, if Herrmann is waived, rights to Colon are lost. Herrman can also not be moved to DL.
