This will serve as the start for the 14th Season. I have started the work on ESPN and the League is registered now. Everyone needs to go there and registered.
Can someone else register us on Drafttime. I think we should start the draft here either March 9th or 16th unless someone has another idea.

Even if you have posted your keepers above, please set them at the ESPN site as well.
I am happy to honcho the draftime software again this year.
I can't remember how we have managed the draft process on ESPN in past years. There are effectively two options:
1. Put the league in draft mode, and have the commish (or his designees) enter draft picks onto each team during the draft. The downside of this method is that we'll be unable to see the pool of available players on ESPN, since player availability is not updated until after the draft is complete. The advantage is that we can put all undrafted players on waivers after the draft is complete.
2. Activate the league (i.e., close the draft) after keepers are set. Each manager (or the commish) can add drafted players as the draft proceeds. The listing of available players will adjust during the draft, but once the draft is completed, there will be no option to put undrafted players in waivers - unless we manage that process manually.
I think we have used option 2 in the past, but want to make sure everyone is on the same wavelength. If we do use option 2, it's helpful to activate the league a couple of days before the draft begins so that all players clear waivers first, and can therefore be added as free agents once the draft begins.

Option 2 is OK for me. I think I can help by adding in all the keepers so everyone can tell who are free agents.
Then it is better for each person to add at ESPN those player they draft. But I will also try to add at ESPN those drafted at Drafttime.

For a simple majority to pass requires 6 votes. A two thirds majority would require 7.
Counting Guru's vote for Option 2 make the current totals:
Option 1 = 0
Option 2 = 5
Looks like Option 2 has taken off with a considerable lead.

This has usually been a fast drafting league.
Last year, we started drafting on March 19, and were finished on March 24. At that pace, there is no rush to get started.
I suggest we plan to start the draft on Monday, March 18. That should still allow us to finish with a week to spare.

Russ - You did some extra work - dropping all of the unkept players was unnecessary. Once all teams have marked their keepers, there is a button to push that releases all of the unkept players automatically. I just did that for the last two teams that had not yet marked keepers.
The next steps are as follows:
1. Process keepers. I scheduled this for noon today. I don't think this happens automatically. I think there is still a button that will need to be clicked.
2. Start the offline draft t ESPN, and then immediately close it. This effectively activates the regular season with only the keepers entered on each team. This also starts the waiver clock running. This should be done immediately after keepers are processed.
3. Wait until Monday. By then, all players will have cleared waivers and can be directly added by each team (or the Commish) as the draft progresses.

OK - I just processed the draft on ESPN (keepers only) and activated the league. The waiver "clock" has now started, and all players will clear waivers on Sunday. When we start drafting on Monday, you can freely add your draft picks to your roster.
If there are any errors in keepers, please post here, and the changes can be made by someone with commissioner powers.

We'll go untimed for the first round, just to make sure everyone is alert.
Please pick up your players at ESPN as soon s possible after they are drafted. This will keep the ESPN player universe as closely in synch as possible.

I drafted Edwin Encarnacion in Drafttime, but can't determine how to pick him up in ESPN. Under the "Status" column in ESPN, there are no options other than showing he's a "FA". The "ACTION" section is blank.

Hoping that Lawrence can get his Draftime situation resolved. Meanwhile, I pushed Reyes for him just to keep things moving (sort of).
This league has always had trouble getting going, and then just flies along - so I'm not at all concerned.

I have noticed on Draftime that I am apparently the Admin person. Or at least I have the Admin functions such as Drafting the queues.
I see that Deepsnaper has a queue and is almost out of time. I can draft his next ranked player to keep him from losing him. Also I can do this on others if anyone wants.

Not sure what deepsnapper is up to - but he has an autopick set for his 7th rounder, while his 6th round pick was skipped. Looks like he might have set up the wrong round-specific queue.

Actualy I made the 6th pick live. I've been taking advantage of the "copy queue" function to stay on Auto. I nave a "15" delay on making the pick and sat down on Rd 6's clock and copied the queue to the 7th round. quite perceptive of you Mr. Hall... . (;-Þ)
WOULD EVERYONE PLEASE PICK UP THEIR PLAYERS ON ESPN! It takes as much time to find out someone has already been drafted as it does to pick up a player. Please!
