Anywho, since we are all here, let's start the order selection process. I would normally ask for the two sets of random numbers, however I have asked Guru to set the order.

this is what Guru posted in the RIBC thread...

"I'd like to aim to finish by March 29, which is the Wednesday before the season opener (Sunday). That gives a few days to accommodate delays, draft processing, waivers, etc.

So, I think I'll stick with that time frame, probably activating the draft on the evening of March 14. We'll do the first round untimed, and then revert to the usual 4-hour clock (with an 8-hour overnight moratorium.)

If anyone has a potential issue with that time frame, please speak up now."

I would also like to finish about that time. However, since the AA normally takes a bit longer, I will open this up Monday night, run the first round untimed, and have the clock run like the RIBC. Does anyone have any questions, concerns, complaints?

So this process is being stalled by one individual? How about having a little courtesy for the rest of us and our time? Unless there's a legit reason for the delay such as health issues and such, let's go with 15 teams and start. We are already behind all the other leagues.

No one is asking but...

1.05 Jose Altuve 2B Hou
After Trout, a consensus overall 1.01, I feel I can interchange 5 or 6 players here. My sheet had Altuve 2 over Goldy, Arenado, (both of whom are still available) Bryant, Bryce, Betts. No interest in an SP in rd1. My reasoning for Altuve is position scarecity (I always struggle with MI in this format)?steal rate (another category I usually lack) and a projected OBP with the studs at any position. Also will be among the position leaders in R and RBI.

2.12 Daniel Murphy 2B Was
Really? Two 2B to start this draft! Was all set to grab Sale here but watching the draft take shape there were only 4 SP taken thru this pick and in addition to Sale Kluber/Arietta/Lester/Verlander/Cueto still available and a rebound pick 9 picks from now, just went with the best available hitter on my board, who just happen to be another MI. Murphy should excel in the categories Altuve leads a little (still a 5 tool fantasy player) to be desired for a top 30 pick - SLG and RBI and also is very strong in OBP and runs. I now can have a MI stress free draft when folks are picking through the bones for meat

3.05 Corey Kluber SP Cle
So everyone is loading up on hitters and a top 5-7 SP drops to me in rd3. Corey will strikeout 220ish and have an ERA in the low threes and a top WHIP among starters. Add in pitching as an ace in a contending club and he should hit high teens in wins. Tons of hitters missed and I'm bypassing quality hitters Cruz/Abreu/braun/JD top my list but want a staff anchor

4.12 Johnny Cueto SP SF
Again, not what I thought I would have done after rd3 but As round three ended and four began I see Arrietta/ /Lester/Cueto still on the board. As round four unfolded I decided if one of them made it to me, I'd grab him. This gives me top 10 Pitchers as SP1 and SP2. Johnny is another one who reliably deliver in all four SP categories (although there are several better K rate starters still undrafted). I passed on CDavis/Bautista and others here to help with hitting, but I'm solid in SP early.

Nothing personal, but why are we not skipping the clock on PermDude's 7th round pick? He is already 8 hours late on his 6th round pick? Normally, you don't get a new clock when you are still on the clock for your previous pick.

5.05 Jose Bautista OF Tor
Having gone with two 2B and two SP to start the draft, the time has come to grab hitters who will contribute to the production numbers and ratios. Obviously all the top tier studs are gone but @joeybats19 does have that potential to produce runs. Also great with the the ratios (plus no clue why but he follows me on twitter). At 36 he finds himself in the same spot as last year and hoping to perform well for the up coming free agent market. He could DH more which may help with durability and get him off that artificial turf OF

6.12 Hanley Ramirez 1B Bos
I am a bit worried that the closer run may start, but have four tier2 RP queued I'd be ok with so can wait until next pick. Another guy nearing his mid 30s and a player who has a couple of mega-bust seasons in his past but with Papi gone he should get more DH time and. if he can find a groove he again is a player who can pull perform his selection at pick 92. Plus I have a little better state of mind about my base team having filling my first OF and CI slots.

7.05 Wade David RP ChC
Got a little nervous when Sparky Anne picked two closers at the turn but the run has not started yet and I had a few closer options here. Just want someone who will rack up saves and have job security so I like Davis a bit more than Kimbrel who has taken play in the AL East. If you listen to Cubs fans, they are going to win 160 games this season so I just have to hope the bats take some days off where they can win by 3 or less.

1.11 11 Rizzo, Anthony 1B CHC
Hoped someone in the Top 10 would reach and let me sneak in. With 4 picks left, I had Machado, Arenado, Donaldson, and Kershaw as hopefuls. When everyone behaved properly, I was left with the next best thing. Not complaining, but felt a little disappointing.

2.06 22 Marte, Starling OF PIT
Early rounds are for "best available player." Of course, Seager or Scherzer would've been nice here, but I'll take the early help in SB.

3.11 43 Springer, George OF HOU
Another "best available" selection. Wasn't looking for 2 OF this early, but the selection at SP was still deep and I figured one of the elite guys would make it back to me.

4.06 54 Lester, Jon SP CHC
I figured I could get Arrieta, Lester, or Cueto here and I was right.

5.11 75 Kipnis, Jason 2B CLE
Beyond "best available player," I have also begun employing the strategy of drafting the last member of a tier. Kipnis is a good example of this. I often struggle to fill all my MI positions without overreaching to draft them. Kipnis looked like a perfect pick at this spot and there appeared to be a dropoff at the position after him.

6.06 86 Longoria, Evan 3B TAM
For this pair of picks, I was targetting 2B and 3B. I saw Kipnis standing alone while I was okay with Bregman, Longoria, or Turner at 3B. Kipnis at 75 might have been a few picks early and he may have fit better at 86, but I figured at least one of the 3B would make it back, while Kipnis probably wouldn't. Bregman was the one I really wanted, but I'm happy with Longoria.

Glad someone else is doing rationals here.

8.12 Brandon Belt 1B SF
Was thinking about Belt when I made the HanRam pick, had other priorities last pick to get a closer. Since Belt is still here, he's mine. Brandon went in the 5th round in one of the RIBC and 6th in the other two, but every draft is different. For me Brandon is solid in this format with a stellar OBP, good slugging, and just a small notch below the counting stats of the 1B that went two plus whole rounds earlier (Davis, Santana, Trumbo, Ramirez), and I see a tier drop off before the next first base candidates.

9.05 Sam Dyson RP Tex
I count maybe 12-14 solid and relatively safe RP1 and RP2 candidates. Sure someone can get a closer later who will keep the job and get 40 saves, but the risk is higher. I am slow on the trigger when closers change and rather focus my MR later in the draft on K/9 guys than closers in waiting. This is again the last of the tier before the next drop. Nothing much to see here. Most of the league agrees as the next two RP taken are Miller (set up extraordinaire) and Kelley (stuck in a committee scenario) and no closers taken for a couple more rounds

10.12 Carlos Gomez OF
Can't forget about steals. My goal is not to try to win the category, but to not punt it. Carlos should steal in the 20s, .320/.420 will not kill the ratios but not many 20+ steal guys in round 10 will help. He had a bad start to last season and it is not out of the question he can be another bust, so just rooting that he finds his old Brewer self.

11.05 Elvis Andrus SS Tex
Wanted another SP here, but have a few in mind and one or more should make it back (Gausman, Stroman, Lackey, Estrada - all did). Another running Ranger, that is two in a row for me (I am making that annoying Rangers antler sign with my hands as I type this). Also fills my need for a short stop. I am actually filled on my 3 MI through 11. Is that a good thing? We'll see. At this point in the draft, 11 shortstops are gone and if I don't grab Elvis here, the choices later are not going to ideal and I'd probably be trolling the free agent pool all season.

12.12 Kevin Gausman BAL
I've ignored SP since I drafted two so early and tried to focus on closers to avoid not being competitive, and hitters who had either power or speed. As for SP, see my prior rationale, no one wants the guys I queued, not sure if that makes me happy or concerned I overvalued. Whatever. Feel like I have a real solid servicable starter who should be good for double digit wins, 170Ks, and 3.40/1.20. Sold.

13.05 Kole Calhoun OF LAA
I am drafting very boring. Going for lower risk players, who should stay healthy and are likely to be consistent. Kole should be a run scorer batting ahead of "Mr. consensus 1.01". Perfect for an OF3.

14.12 Nick Castellanos 3B Det
Third baseman pool getting depleted. Eyeing Kang but he is likely stuck in Korea for a little while longer and may not be on the active roster until late April/early May. I'll stash him later (wrong - RoBo took Kang rd 17 when I was going to take him). Anyway Nick is ok by me. Decent slugging, but not much to speak of for OBP. Should produce counting stats. This is what I get when I take the 19th 3B in the league. Again, my feeling here is if I wait, the pickings are riskier and slimmer

15.05 Marcus Stroman SP TOR
Actually looked at Marcus in rd 11 and would have taken him in 12 if Gausman was not around. Also took him days before his stellar WBC championship game outing where I am sure later drafts will see his stock rise. Eats a lot of innings and with a K/9 just shy of 8 should generate 170 strikeouts. Expecting a mid 3 ERA which will also be a positive contribution. Wins in the AL East with a shaky Blue Jay bullpen should be harder to come by but you cannot predict wins and with quality starts, the wins will fall. A little nervous about his high 1.2X whip.

7.11 107 Jones, Adam OF BAL
Logic told me to take an RP here, but I just missed the boat. 6 of the 8 picks before mine were RP and I didn't like any of the remaining at 107. I thought 118 would be a better spot. I decided to go with the best hitter available in Jones, solidifying my OF and allowing me to look at other positions for the next several rounds, while others filled OF.

8.06 118 Cole, Gerrit SP PIT
Decided I didn't love any of the RP left at this point. My real target was Price, but Philsphan sniped him 1 pick earlier. Getting my OF3 earlier cost me consideration of Benintendi here, as this was too early to fill OF4. Hoping for a healthy return to form from Cole as my SP2.

9.11 139 Miller, Andrew RP CLE
Having missed again on a number of closers, I took the best RP available, independent of Saves. Miller's ratios and Ks and Ws contributions justify this draft position, and should Allen falter or get injured, I have an ace closer.

10.06 150 Tulowitzki, Troy SS TOR
Another "last member of a tier" pick. I was considering Gonzalez or Pujols for my CI position, but both got scooped on this turn. Also thought about going SP3 (Keuchel, McCullers, Salazar, etc), but the options seemed deep enough to wait. I'm hoping Tulo can defy age and stay on the field enough in this potent offense to anchor my middle infield.

11.11 171 Gattis, Evan C HOU
I never draft catcher this early, but the value seemed good. Based on the fact that Martin was the next C off the board 41 picks later, maybe I could've waited.

12.06 182 Betances, Dellin RP NYY
Not loving any of the Closer options at this point, so I doubled down on my stud setup men. Betances is further from a shot at Saves than Miller (Chapman would have to get hurt), but the other numbers are elite. Combined with Miller, I have the numbers of an ELITE SP at the cost of 9th and 12th round picks.

16.12 David Peralta OF Ari
Plan A here was Estrada at SP or Koda (closer news now has him in line for saves) - gone. Plan B contained Peralta or Grandy at OF, and Bour at 1B for my last non-catchers starters including the UTIL spot. Peralta has the best ratios among those left in the OF that I am considering. I tend to favor those when drafting non-speedsters. I like Bour too but no one really needs 1B or MI the next 8 picks so for the first time this draft choosing based on who would be more likely to fall back on the rebound.

17.05 Justin Bour 1B Mia
Held my breath 8 picks and he made it to me. Another ratio guy, this one with a little higher expectations in the slugging and run production. I'm starting to feel like my team is setting up real nice.

18.12 Melky Cabrera OF CWS
Filling out the offense and not really loving anything here at round 18. Maybe an SP, but a few of my mini-queue remain. All my hitting starters are set but the next guy in will see PT with days off and watching daily lineups. Really torn. Ok, melk-man it is. Again boring. Best available for counting stats and OBP/SLG that will not hurt.

19.05 Carter Capps RP SD
Started looking at my neglected position catcher, but not liking what I see and will likely play add/drop with the free agent pool all season, unless something hits. Have all other offense filled and an extra hitter now for days off so anyone else will also be on the bench with limited PT. Have a mini SP5 queue containing Davies/Pomeranz/Santana/Zimmerman (and Cotton who was just nabbed) but not enthusiastic.
So went with my first of two K/9 guys. Capps strikes out 12.5 per nine and great on WHIP. Although I do not think he will figure in to saves with the Pads, he may see one here or there.

20.12Kyle Barraclough RP Mia
Thought about Lorenzen and his possible saves opportunities in the committee, and got cocky and thought I could wait another round or two. Wrong. PD grabbed him 21.03. So another guy who can generate 12+ Ks per nine. Had him in my work league for part of last year and he ended the season with a 14 K/9 2.85 ERA, and 1.22 WHIP. He's not Dellin but 8 rounds later.

21.05 Ivan Nova SP Pit
Curse all of you for nabbing my SPs, but really curse myself for keep putting SP5 off. If Ivan did not make it here after Sparky took Santana, I may have went with just 4 SPs into the season. As it is, will be checking for the hot undrafted starter in April. Not much to say. He has an ERA near 4, but has had a bit of a run with the Bucs last year where he won like 7 in a row. Hoping another full season in the NL treats him (and me) well.

1.12 Joey Votto, IB, CIN
The best OBP in baseball. SLG close to .500. Still, I would have taken Rizzo if he had lasted one more pick. But I am happy with Mr. Votto.

2.05 Max Scherzer, SP, WAS
I thought I would do something different and get a pitcher early. I wasn’t really enamored with the next list of 20 or so hitters; none of them spoke to me. Scherzer is a K machine. I expect over 250 K’s with and ERA around 3.10 and a WHIP around 1. Even with the “bad” finger.

3.12 A.J. Pollock, OF, ARI
Everyone says he’s healthy, and he will give me a good start on SB’s. Then that CBSSports article comes out with a report of his groin acting up again. Yikes. Potential bad decision number 1.

4.05 Matt Carpenter, 2B, STL
I think I got the last of the upper tier 2B’s. A lot of SS went off the board in Round 2 and so if I waited any longer for an MI I was going to be in trouble. Great OBP, respectable SLG, hopefully 80+ runs and 70+ RBI.

5.12 Justin Turner, 3B, LAD

6.05 Ken Giles, RP, HOU
This guy was a monster when he came up with the Phillies. He was Billy Wagner, only better. That fastball was unhittable. And then that slider… I think he pressed when he was traded, trying too hard to impress. He has another year under his belt; his 2016 second half was pretty good. Even if he doesn’t close he is going to give me close to 100 K’s. But I think (hope) he will be one of the elite closers this year.

7.12 Jose Ramirez, OF CLE
I was looking for another closer here and I had my eyes on either Herrera or Kimbrel, or even the wife beater. Alas, all three were picked right before my turn. So, time to change plans.
I’m excited to get Ramirez. Dual position flexibility with 3B and 20+ steals hopefully.

8.05 David Price, SP, BOS
As each day goes by I am regretting this decision more and more. Will he even pitch before May? Yikes. Potential bad decision number 2. But if he does return by May as many are saying now, then I feel I have value in an 8th Round starting pitcher.

9.12 Shawn Kelley, RP, WAS
I had just read something that said Dusty was whispering that Kelley was his ninth inning guy. And then the day after I pick him, the Nat’s website says Glover could now be the guy. If Kelly is the man, then 20-30 saves are there. K/9 rate is over 10 and his WHIP should be around 1.10. If he is not the man, Potential Bad Decision Number 3.

10.05 Albert Pujols, 1B, LAAOA
I have always wanted Pujols on my fantasy team. I don’t care if it is in Round 10 and he is a shell of what he once was. He has some incentive this year in reaching some important career milestones, and he says he feels good this spring. So who knows. Hopefully he gives me 90+ RBI because I am low on those numbers. And for my 3rd CI in the tenth round that would be awesome.

11.12 Brandon Crawford, SS, SF
Still don’t have a SS and I was glad Crawford was left. My thought was, that after him, the well was pretty dry.

I have been surprised by the large numbers of MI’s that were drafted this year. I was not prepared for that. Been out of the drafting business for a coupla years…

12.05 Cam Bedrosian, RP, LAAOA
With Huston Street on the shelf (again), I am betting that Bedrosian is the man. If so – great pick and this could be my third closer. If not, Potential Bad Decision Number 4. But the fact that he was picked in the 10th Round of the RIBC makes me feel like I got value here.

13.12 Jay Bruce, OF, NYM
I’m in need of RBI’s and SLG at this point. He really struggled when he went to New York so he makes me a little nervous. And then the Mets tried to trade him with no takers? And now the Mets appear to have 4 outfielders. So if Bruce doesn’t get off to a decent start he may be the #4. Hopefully he gets off to the same start he did last year. Then he will be a great value here.

14.05 Cesar Hernandez, 2B, PHI
My first homer pick. I like his SB counts and his OBP. If I can get 20 steals I will be happy. He just needs to keep it between the navigational beacons on the base paths…

15.12 Jerad Eickhoff, SP, PHI
Homer pick number 2. If I can get a repeat of last year, ERA <3.70, WHIP < 1.20, and K’s >160 then I will be happy.

13.11 203 Hill, Rich SP LAD
When he is healthy, he is great. If I get 150 innings, I'll be thrilled. I had other SPs in the queue (Gausman, Paxton, Fulmer) that would've offered a better innings outlook, but they didn't make it to me. Jay Bruce was also very tempting, but still wasn't feeling urgency to get an OF4 yet.

14.06 214 Travis, Devon 2B TOR
Looking for hitters to fill out the remaining open spots on my roster. MI was staring at me and I have fond memories of Travis in the past.

15.11 235 Buxton, Byron OF MIN
I had hopes for Pineda here, but GoatLocker got to him first. Lackey was my fallback, but BrentKite took him. OF coffers are starting to deplete with Grichuk and Gordon. I think a 20/20 campaign is a possibility for Buxton. His projected OPS ratios are a bit of a drag, but I think I have built up a cushion for that (in part by having a strong-hitting catcher).

16.06 246 Samardzija, Jeff SP SFO
My biggest need appears to be innings (less than 700 at this point). Enter an inning-eater that won't kill my ratios, gets decent K numbers and should see double-digit wins. Manaea and Estrada going just before me helped push me in this direction. There was A LOT of hype around Ray, but I guess I wasn't conviced (or hoped for another chance in the next round).

17.11 267 Ho Kang, Jung 3B PIT
I hear that his sentence is suspended and he is doing rehab to avoid further punishment. Hopefully, that means he plays 150 games this season in my CI position. The pick of this round may end up being Drury.

18.06 278 Jones, Nate RP CWS
Tripling down on elite setup men that could be elite closers given a little luck. Maybe a little early for him, but I wasn't confident he would last 21 more picks.

22.12 Yan Gomes C Cle
Thought about filling my on open slot catcher after 21.05. Figured Castillo or Weiters will make it back here since everyone else but me and goatlocker had it filled and whose going to grab a backup, let alone two of you. Wrong. Both gurudan and beancline decided they wanted these guys and gramazins grabbed a catcher too that I would have added to my list (but gramazins... not the Met!?!) before I was up. So now what? Has anyone punted a position before? So I set up a 2 player panic C queue of Gomes and d'Arnaud for this round. I try to avoid fantasy starters with a sub-.300 OBP at all costs but will hope my roster will pick up the slack and buffer the damage. Yan has a bit of power, but I'll actively be watching the undrafted catchers for signs of life and maybe will find this years Gary Sanchez in the mid season call ups.

23.05 Michael Saunders OF Phi
Filling out my bench. Cannot find a backup 3b worthy of consideration so went with another OF. Set up a bench hitter queue of Sanders and Park (who I kept flip flopping) and two others still not drafted as of this post. All have decent late draft fantasy value for production, just have to hope he has his good days when my regulars have a day off.

24.12 Jurickson Profar 3B Tex
Kept hoping to find a backup 3b but anyone I liked either got picked or I went for another position due to lack of enthusiasm. Jurockson will likely find more time as an outfielder this year but has 3b eligibility. I've always liked him as a player but has limited fantasy value due to his lack of power

19.11 299 Inciarte, Ender OF ATL
The real target here was Garrett Richards. It was him or Jones at 278 and I had to guess which one might make it to 299. Its possible that I may have chose wrong and Jones might have lasted. The hitting pool is getting pretty shallow and Inciarte was one of a couple OF I considered (Hayward, Soler). He should get on base enough to steal some bases and score some runs.

20.06 310 Pomeranz, Drew SP BOS
Still short on innings. Pomeranz seems like a reasonable SP5 that projects with decent ratios and K numbers. The last third of this draft is really a crap shoot, and many of these players will be back on Waivers if they start slow and there is a hot bat or arm available.

21.11 331 Soler, Jorge OF KAN
Building a little bench depth and figured I would go with high celing over high floor at this point. Soler raked in the minors and now he looks to get full-time at bats. Nova was at the top of my queue to start the round, but when he didn't make it, I figured my last SP could wait a round (at least). And then the next 4 picks came right out of my queue!

22.06 342 Bundy, Dylan SP BAL
Wacha and Rodriquez were my two targets here and they went quickly after my last pick. I'll take a flyer on a post-post-post-hype sleeper here. Maybe he can get back to health and put together some of the promise he showed in the past. Sonny Gray was a thought, but the recent injury news about him is scary. At this point, we are all just throwing darts.

23.11 363 Parra, Gerardo OF COL
Not long after making my last pick, I saw the news that Kang is having visa issues and could miss the entire season! I already had Prado in my queue, but this revelation pushed him to the top of the list. The CI pool is incredibly shallow at this point. Once Prado was taken, I had to get a little creative. Parra played 19 games (1 short of getting elilgbility) at 1B last year and the injury to Desmond (and Dahl) could open up a spot for Parra to gain 1B eligibility (10 games).

24.06 374 Vargas, Kennys 1B MIN
Hammel was my target to fill out my pitching staff. I probably should've taken him at 363, but I was in a grocery store and took Parra thinking he had 1B eligibility already. When I got home, I saw that ESPN requires 20 games and I'm still without my CI to start the season. With that, my attention turned to Vargas. He appears to have a full time job and if his numbers from last year translate over a full season, he could be a huge bargain.

Was watching the Yankee SS replacement battle for Didi's spot while he's on the mend. if there was a chance their 19 year old blue chip prospect who is having a stellar spring, would have been considered for that roster spot, I would have hopped on him here. (Yes I know this is not a keeper league)

Around round 20 started thinking about getting a handcuff for one of my two closers (Davis ChC or Dyson Tex) even though they should have job security. Just to protect against injury since each has a definite fill in. But Rondon and Bush long gone in this draft, they also have non save fantasy value. So figured I'd get someone else's handcuff here, at least for April. The Reds have not officially named a closer and their manager says he will look at matchups. Cincy's presumptive closer Iglesias is dealing with some bathroom related injuries and may very well be ready for this opening day, the more likely guy to get chances at saves Lorenzen was grabbed in this draft a few rounds ago just as I was considering him. Store has been aweful this spring but we'll see what happens one the games count. Hey it's round 25, everyone is taking a flyer.

1.09 Clayton Kershaw SP Best pitcher available. I was really hoping he was going to drop to me. I would have taken him even if I was a few spots higher in the draft. Honestly, no other choice even entered my mind.

2.08 Freddie Freeman 1B first choice was obvious. This choice wasn’t. Was looking at MI, but all the choices that I wanted were gone. Thought that Freeman with his BA, OBP and other stats would be a good anchor to my hitters. He could get better numbers with the team around him improving.

3.09 Gregory Polanco OF You know when you’re hungry, and the first thing that pops into your head in the place you have heard about all day on the radio…this was Polanco. Had a great WBC, and a guy at work was telling me about him. He was on the brain as it were when my spot came up. I think maybe I took him a round too early, but am happy just the same.

4.08 Kyle Seager 3B I would have liked to get a MI here, but all the ones I liked were gone. Getting Seager, I feel like I have a couple of solid corner infielders. He has been pretty consistent, and his numbers went up last year.

5.09 Carlos Gonzalez OF Here I was looking at going SP, but seeing Gonzalez here I couldn’t pass him up. I was looking at a few rankings sites, and they had him above a lot of the guys that had already been of the board. The SP I was looking at I just hoped he would make it back to me.

16.05 Yasiel Puig, OF LAD
Yasiel my boy! Now I can have that team name that I always wanted! RIBC took him in Round 11, so I think I have some value here. If I get the
2014 Puig, then I just got a 2nd-3rd rounder at a round 16 price. If he keeps up his antics and wastes his abilities, then I got 16th round value. Either way it’s a win-win for me.

17.12 Trevor Bauer, SP CLE
With Price now a big question mark, I need to turn my attention over to starting pitching. Bauer seemed the best of the group left (while hoping that Liriano remained available). Hoping for at least 150 K’s and an ERA south of 4.

18.05 Salvador Perez, C KC
Long overdue for a catcher, and after Perez I didn’t like anyone. His OBP will stink, but he should give me 500 AB’s, and that just gives him more opportunity to score and drive in runs.

19.12 Francisco Liriano, SP, TOR
He was picked in the 16th Round in RIBC, and I was kind of surprised he was still around. He is on a great offensive team that should win a lot of games. I am hoping for similar numbers as Bauer.

20.05 Lucas Duda, 1B, NYM
Here is another potential value pick. Duda was selected Round 14 in RIBC. His Average Draft Position on Draftime was 242 and I got him at 309. For a 20th rounder, I could get some good value here.

21.12 Michael Wacha, SP, STL
Just a hunch (aren’t all these picks after #20?). I’m betting that 2016 was injury related, and that he will revert to his 2013-2015 numbers (or thereabouts).

22.05 Shin-Soo Choo, OF, TEX
I wasn’t even thinking of this guy because I had been more focused on firming up my pitching. Choo was picked in the 12th Round of the RIBC. How did he make it this far down in our draft? The same guy that picked Choo in RIBC also picked Yasiel, so maybe he is on to something ;-).

23.12 Jorge Polanco, SS, MIN
He appears to have the full-time gig with the Twins, and if his 2016 is any indication, he could put up some decent stats. He was a 19th Round selection in RIBC. Another potential value pick.

24.05 Hector Rondon, RP, CHI
Looking for the stray save of course, but mostly I'm looking for Rondon to offset some less-than stellar SP innings with some zeros and K’s. He was a pretty good closer before Aroldis came along. So if something happens to Wade, well…

25.12 Clay Buchholtz, SP, PHI
We’ll see how long he stays on my roster.

Congrats Matt!! You held off some late charges and earned your spot in the RIBC majors in 2018.

Also shout out to gramazins on second and RoBo who just edged me out for third.

Finally props for our 5th sparkyanne and 6th philsphans place teams who only made four moves each all season yet stayed competitive

Thanks all!

I don't think I dropped below 3rd all year, James had me pinned down early in August but I was able to make a few moves to jump a spot in OBP and in steals which helped probably 4 points in totals.

Also Aroldys Vizcaino, no one picked him up and he probably gave me a 3-4 slot boost in Saves as well.

With 1 week to go I was up 10 and James made a heck of a run. I was actually sitting pitchers to save myself in WHIP and ERA and that may have hurt me a little. I think I left McCullers in which dinged me a bit, then I sat both Paxton and Vargas yesterday. I was going to leave Paxton in as I thought he had a shot to boost my ERA and WHIP and it looks like that would have been an ok call and really made it hard to catch me.
