supplemental draft.
No time limit initially, unless deemed necessary

To be conducted BEFORE the Supplemental Draft
Under 300 AB's or 125 IP to be draft eligible
You can retain up to 5 prospect eligible players from one season to next
There are 8 rounds in the prospect draft - minus a pick for each prospect you carry over.
Any player at any level (as long as they are under limits) can be drafted as prospect. College, International, Little League etc.
Prospects may be called up in-season and can be sent back and forth to prospect list until the end of the season in which they exceeded the stated prospect limits. As with our new rule, managers can keep prospects for the entire season in which they exceed their stated prospect level limits. So, if your prospect hits the limit in May, you may still hold his rights as a prospect until the beginning of the following season. Prospects may be called up or sent down anytime in-season or off-season prior to keeper declaration. If called up and made an MLB keeper, prospects will lose their prospect status.
Prospect rights may be traded.
Prospect picks may be traded as long as receiving team has enough spots to make the draft pick at time of draft.
You can trade for as many prospects as you like - however you'll need to have 5 or less at the time of the Prospect Draft

Guys,
I musta been deaf to the message. Barilko stated quite clearly he wasn't returning, yet I counted him as returning during roll call. Fortunately he repeated this to Phil during Phil's attempt to do a trade. Phil let me know.
I have contacted Joe (Black Death), to see if he still wants a team. Coincidentally I got an e-mail today from Joe Beeler as well, he's been out of town and is still interested.

<35>I believe the league was not a keeper league in 2001, and was reformed as a keeper league in 2003. Bili and Nerve seem to be the only charter members left. Tree missed only the first year of keeper if I remember right. If there was a 2002 league it was not on Yahoo.

To be clear, Ohtani is not prospect eligible. He had 326 ABs. You may not draft him as prospect pitcher either.
During the Draft Time draft, you will draft him as either a hitter or as a pitcher. So, two different teams can have rights to him.
If Yahoo merges the two players in the future, only one owner can own him. Who ever has the oldest rights, gets rights to both if Yahoo merges in the future. So, for now its who ever drafts his half first.

Surprisingly we have finished the prospect draft. Even more surprisingly, I have everything loaded in Draft Time now.
A little less than half of the prospects are not in the database at Draft Time, but may be added as the draft progresses. so, you will need to be attentive.
If you are going for a guy who you think may be a prospect, please check to make sure He wasn't already drafted in the regular draft.
I am going to start the draft with no clock now.
Your first order of business should be to verify your keepers. Let me know if you find mistakes ASAP.
Your second order of business should be to load a queue. You should be able to use Yahoo players tab for available players. I will try to keep Yahoo rosters up to date within a round or two, so you can use that throughout the draft to help you see available players.
The next two posts will be a list of prospects I could not enter in Draft Time. One is by owner, one is alphabetical by player.

I have paused the draft because i found a mistake.
I put Daniel Murphy, 2B, COL on Phil's roster in Yahoo. I recall correcting this mistake on Yahoo so he has been showing as available there. Apparently, I carried the mistake forward to Draft Time before correcting it at Yahoo. SO, Murphy was showing as Phil's Keeper at Draft Time.
Anyway, I have stopped the draft to see if anyone wanted to draft Murphy earlier. Let me know ASAP if you wanted to draft him with an earlier pick. Name the specific pick you would have used. Lowest pick offered gets him, its not a bidding process, you submit your best offer. YOU HAVE UNTIL MONDAY 10 AM EDT.
Now, I know this is going to be a clusterduck, and its going to waste a whole lot of time. The guy is over rated in Yahoo, but he's been at the top there for a long time now, its how I discovered it.
While you are waiting for the draft to resume, Load your queue. When we start up again I am going to a one hour per pick for ONE round. Many of you will need that queue to not get skipped, so no bullshit, load your queue and make it auto pick. I don't want any whining.
This is going to have a serious ripple effect if someone wants Murphy, so be patient and don't go AWOL while I am trying to straighten this out. If you don't want Murphy don't f u c k around, send me an e-mail saying you don't want him.

FYI - been talking with Fred, and there is a current problem with autopick. It's not recording the time of the previous pick (or more accurately, it's recording it as zero). So putting in a delay, it just sees it as "Well you've been waiting from the dawn of time, so yeah time to auto pick" and picks immediately.
So don't expect to have a delay. Don't work. Picks immediately.

This means that Yoan Moncada is now available for a pick between 2.01 and 4.07.
I am going to need to hear from each and every one of you as to whether you want Moncada or not. This new deadline will be 1400 EDT Monday.

Internet and TV flaky since Tuesday. I have both maybe 4 hours a day, unpredictable when.
Back bone issue that may fix itself with network upgrade/scheduled outage on this Tuesday. Have had two house calls already, no joy.
