Quote of the day
"It felt like Game 7 of the finals. I've never been to the finals, but that was the type of atmosphere here." -- Cleveland guard Ramon Sessions, after the Cavs beat Boston in their home opener

Daily blurb
So whatís LeBron thinking now, after the Cavs just beat Boston one night after the Celtics beat Miami?

I didnít watch the Miami game last night, but looking at the boxscore, it appears that the reported demise of Dwyane Wade may have been premature. Meanwhile, LeBronís stat line has yet to be LeBron-like, although if you donít count turnovers (17 in two games), I suppose his numbers look a little better.

So much for yesterdayís marquis pitching matchup in the World Series opener, as a total of 18 runs were scored. Tim Lincecum allowed 4 runs in 5-2/3 innings - but that was good enough, as Cliff Lee came crashing back to earth, surrendering 6 earned runs while failing to complete 5 IP.
