Quote of the day
"I knew I needed to score 23 tonight to get it. You ask any player and they know it. If you need another assist for a triple-double, they know it." -- Celtics forward Paul Pierce, after scoring his 20,000th point as a Celtic

Daily blurb
Kobe Bryant had a 30-12-10 triple-double last night. While there is no question that he’s one of the all-time NBA greats, he’s not one who you expect a triple-double from. In his 15th NBA season, this is just his 17th TD. That ranks him #4 (tied with Garnett) among active players (behind Kidd[105], LeBron[34], and Grant Hill[29]).

You didn’t need to have Kobe to have a good night in fantasy hoops. Ten players topped the 50 RSCP threshold, including four with 60 or better. One of those was Rajon Rondo, whose 15 assists almost seem like an off-night this year – yet he was only 2 rebounds short of his own triple-double (17-15-8).
