Quote of the day
"We are terrible." -- Cincinnati WR Terrell Owens, after the team blew a 28-7 lead to Buffalo, eventually losing 49-31

Daily blurb
Mark Sanchez pulled off a stunning Peyton Manning imitation in the final minute against Houston, taking the Jets 72 yards to a winning score – after apparently blowing the game with an interception just a little more than a minute earlier.

Peyton Manning pulled off a stunning Mark Sanchez imitation in the final 2-minute drive against New England, taking the Colts deep into FG territory (down 3) and then throwing an interception - after apparently on track toward a miracle comeback with two TDs drives earlier in the 4th quarter.

Go figure.

In the NBA, perhaps the most surprising stat line for the weekend was 23 points, 16 rebounds, 5 assists, 6 blocks, and 2 steals – by Darko Milicic - against the Lakers. That works out to 71 RSCP. He had 47.5 RSCP 2 games prior to that. Could he finally be reaching his potential? Or are these merely anomalies? In previous seasons, he would (very) occasionally pop off a 40+ TSNP game. But nothing approaching a 71 point result.
