It took 8 games, but we finally had an NFL Playoff game that sent the hometown fans away disappointed. And the Giants made it decisive, outpointing the Packers in three of the four quarters (losing only the 3rd quarter, 3-0). So much for next week’s anticipated shootout between Rodgers and Brees. Maybe defense still matters after all.
