Quote of the day
"Good umpires had a real bad series this series -- a real bad series. It went one way. There should be a review." -- Red Sox manager Bobby Valentine, after Boston was swept in a weekend series by the Washington Nationals

Daily blurb
In spite of the “Natinals” sweep of the Red Sox, the A.L. maintained the upper hand in interleague play, now at 46-38. Nine of the 14 AL teams sport an interleague record of 4-2. The team with the best interleague record so far, however, is Arizona (6-0 vs. KC and Oak), and Colorado is the only winless team (vs. Seattle & Anaheim). Interleague play continues for the next two weeks.

In GuruGolf, the "Spring to the Open" Contest produced the following prize winners:
Best ball: Irons in the Fire
Worst ball: SANFORDORS2

If you would like to add any of the unlisted U.S. Open golfers to your GuruGolf foursome this week, please send me an email (davehall@rotoguru2.com) by Wednesday morning and I’ll add them.

I finally win a worst-ball weekly contest, but get no love because of the end of the Spring to the Open.
