Quote of the day
"We're obviously better than last year. That shows. But tonight, they just got our number. I don't know what else to say. They got us tonight." -- Charlotte Bobcats center Byron Mullens, after a 45-point loss in Oklahoma City (in which they were down 40 points at halftime)

Daily blurb
If your weekend fantasy football opponent started Cam Newton, hopefully you had a big lead going in. Newton had what was arguably his best game as a pro, with 306 passing yards, 52 rushing yards, 4 TDs (2 passing, 2 rushing), and no turnovers. Using traditional fantasy scoring, that’s 37.44 points. Last year’s best was in week 13, when he had 38.76 points. If you use 6 pts for a passing TD (instead of 4), then both of those games were slightly over 40 points.

Football Pickoff produced 55% positive scores this week, although no one came close to running the table. The best score was +435 by Chattanooga Chuggers, who picked 13/16 correctly.

Not only were the Bobcats down 40 at the half, they were down 54 when OKC pulled the starters (79-25). Insane!
