Quote of the day
"When people say they dream of playing in the U.S. Open someday, what they're really saying is, they'd like to be good enough to play. Trust me, the U.S. Open is not fun." -- Tom Weiskopf

Daily blurb
The U.S. Open teed off at 6:45 am this morning, and within two hours the first rain delay began. The forecast suggests that they may get to play some more today, although it looks like there will be more delay than play. Then again, whether it rains is only one factor. The course is so wet that it may not be immediately playable during temporary dry windows.

There is no consensus favorite in GuruGolf this week, as Brent Snedeker, Freddie Jacobson, and Billy Horschel are all equally represented on 18% of foursomes.

I’ll be vacationing again for the next week, so blurbs will be suspended until Monday, June 24.
