0 Subject: NASCAR's aggressive driving policy

Drive aggressively and cause a wreck. Yellow flies. Start at the end of the longest line. Stay on the lead lap.

Drive aggressively and don't cause the yellow to fly. Drive through the pits. Lose a lap (at least).

Moral of the story? If you're gonna drive aggressively, make sure you do it right and wreck the other car.

Good point, Sludge.

Also, I can't stand the name of this. You're supposed to drive aggressively - it's a fricking race!

It'll be interesting to see how they do at California - hopefully the wide track and some distance from home will cool these guys down a bit.

Aren't most of these guys from California?! :)

How about those Daytona ratings? Better than the World Series and the NBA Finals - and not even in primetime... very nice.

By "home", I meant the shops they are based out of in the east.

Hadn't noticed the ratings - that's impressive. Glad to see so many were watching the #48 pull into Victory Lane.

Anyone got any pictures of some of the shops? I hear you can eat off the floor of some of these complexes.

Here you go, Nascar Race Shops

Most of the Nascar team shops are based around Charlotsville, NC.

As for the aggressive driving, what complete crap. Maybe NASCAR should do some more to keep the cars out of 40+ car groups seperated by inches at 190+ mph. So someone slides 6 inches and causes a 20 car pile up. That's the driver's fault?

One of NASCAR's most famous images is cars wrecking each other at Daytona. I can only imagine the fines that would result as of those actions today.
