I'm switching my internet service from one phone # to another and because they say they can't make the transfer on a holiday, I may be caught without internet services for a few days.
I seem to remember from a few years ago that there were some "free" internet services available with some kind of catch I don't remember. Is there anything like that out there I could use for a few days during the transfer period if I find myself holding an empty internet bag for a few days?

I used NetZero's free dialup a few years back, then switched to their "Unlimited for $9.95" deal...they then cancelled me for "too much usage"...huh?

RSF - They did the exact same thing to me. But recently I got my 20 bucks or whatever it was for the class action suit against them. I seem to recall paying for 5 months in advance for the 'guarantee' that I would lock in at that rate.
Toral - just grab one of the AOL discs you probably have around. AOL or MSN will always give you a free 90 day trial. I did this when I moved a few years back until I decided on a provider (who turned out to be NZ).
