MITH, I'm at work, so I can't check my own Outlook Express. But I'd use similar settings to the ones you used for Hotmail. Check those under Tools/Accounts/Properties if you didn't already.

Yeah I tried that. It says my hotmail server URL is http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp
But I have no idea where I got that when I originally set it up.

I didn't think Yahoo allowed you to use pop email clients anylonger unless you pay for one their email accounts!

That's what I eventually found out, xpdurmind. Apparently they used to allow it if you set up your free account to receive their spam (I forget their terminology), but it looks like they have since changed that policy.
The convenience of having both of my email accounts simultaneously accessable in Outlook is probably with the $20/year or whatever it is to upgrade my free Yahoo account, but I have trouble with the principle of paying for it, especially since my Yahoo account is really my secondary addy.

MITH - I think yahoo lets you forward all your email to another email account. Why not forward all yahoo email to hotmail that way you can get it in Outlook Express ??

Mith, You can also get a gmail account . It supports pop email clients for now. If you're interested, leave an email address so I can send you an invitation.
Widdle, I haven't tried it lately, but I tried doing that when Yahoo changed their policy and I had some problems. Besides, you will be unable to send emails from Outlook using your Yahoo account.

1 gig of web space. Pop client support. Secure authentication. Another email that will be free of junk for a while:)
From the google site:
A Google approach to email.
Gmail is an experiment in a new kind of webmail, built on the idea that you should never have to delete mail and you should always be able to find the message you want. The key features are:
* Search, don't sort. Use Google search to find the exact message you want, no matter when it was sent or received.
* Don't throw anything away. 1000 megabytes of free storage so you'll never need to delete another message.
* Keep it all in context. Each message is grouped with all its replies and displayed as a conversation.
* No pop-up ads. No untargeted banners. You see only relevant text ads and links to related web pages of interest
I only suggested it because you wanted to use Outlook and Gmail is a free account that lets you do it. From what I understand, there are cons. Big Brother knowing your history, but I haven't read up on that.
