Since reloading everything I got the newest Winzip 9.0. I'm not used to this one at all. How do I zip a whole folder at a time like with the older ones? So far i'm only able to do actual files. |

Are you sure it's not zipping folders too?
Look at the zipped file and look at the 'Path' field. It should list the folder(s) there.

It isn't because when I goto select the folder I want it won't put it there. It goes into the folder for the files I want to select inside it.

I have winzip 9.0 and have no problems
use the Winzip classic mode:
File/New enter file name: test
Add window appears Look In: select a folder ie. windows click add. (ensure that the file name is *.*) check include subfolders check include system and hidden files click on ADD WITH WILDCARDS
All subfolders and files in the selected directory will populate your zip file.
headings in the zipfile are: name/Type/Modified/Size/Ratio/Packed/Path
To test it out: close winzip find the zip file create a new directory unzip it

Thanks, also I was reading it and you can drag whatever you want over Winzip and it will zip it.
