noticed KB891711 running in the background of my computer later. became concerned, because i also seem to be crashing a lot lately...
found this information about this perfectly legit patch from MS - unfortunately, it seems to, among other things, have some compatability issues with Norton Anti-virus, and more interestingly, Mozilla products... |

I crash a lot too, and run mozilla. The most irritating thing to me is the pop-up application (to download) every time I get into my hotmail. Friend thinks something has been hijacked on my 'puter.
Doesn't happen when I go to hotmail at work (of course I'm not supposed to do that - lol).
