0 Subject: Adding a message board or guestlist to website

I am in need of advice and assistance.

I have set up a webpage for my daughter's softball team. link

The goal is that instead of the coach having to make 15 phone calls when a practice is cancelled or when something is rescheduled, to have him do it on this website, and then give all the parents the URL.

I am figuring the best way would be by adding a message board or a guestbook to the site, and then the coach can post it that way. The other option would be for him to contact me and I would modify the site via the HTML.

Does anyone have any recomendations for FREE guestbook or forum sites that support this. I am also open to other ideas.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Might not be what you are looking for, but I am also setting up something similar for the coach of my "rookie league" baller (one step above TBall, pitching machine and all! woohoo):

http://www.phpbb.com is an open source BB I am going to try and incorporate.

You might find some simple options here:

The other thing I was looking into was http://www.ezboard.com/. Pretty certain there is a free option in there somewhere.

Thanks everyone. All good options I will investigate. Before I checked back here, I just set up a guestbook using efreeguestbooks.com.

You can see my site now has the links near the bottom of the web page to view or add message. Should serve the purpose I was after, but may change to a forum approach with the options you all provided.

I found that connector you were looking for
Cindy, is this the thing you were looking for?
www.liangdianup.com/computeraccessories_1.htm

It's on the list of computer accessories and parts. They have the DVI video thing to convert that jap monitor to work with your other computer. Just about any other kind of wire adaptor, usb connectors, monitor extension wires, ps2 extention wires, and all kinds of female and male swap connectors and things that I think would help your shop. If that above link don't work then goto www.lducompany.com and click on computer accessories. Let me know if that is what you need and give me your email address again.
