I have a potential client coming to visit tomorrow. I want to save their logo as my desktop wallpapaer, but when I try, I get 3 options which all stink 1) Center, 2) stretch and 3) tile.
I just want to save the image so it fills the desktop and looks normal size. Here's a link
can anyone help format this? |

RSF do you have Adobe Photoshop or Elements?
If you do you can open the image and crop it so that it is the correct diminsions for you monitor.
Once it has the correct proportions you can set it as the background and set stretch to make it cover the entire background.
If you don't have a photo editor someone might be able to help you. I can do it, but I won't have a chance until I go home and the kids are asleep, probably 9-10 PM EST.

1024 x 768 resolution --- but right now, this is a laptop in a docking station. That res is for my docked monitor. Tomorrow will be on the laptop screen if that makes a difference?
I don't have either of the programs. This is my work PC/laptop, so i don't want to download anything to it.

RSF, I am sorry, I was going to try and format your picture last night, but the kids didn't have a good night so I never got a chance to get around to it.
Did you get it to work. You can also do this in MS Paint, just go to attributes, click on pixels, and enter the size of your monitor.
You can then copy the logo and place it where you want on the canvas.
