Ever since I had my run in with DealHelper and what not my net has been slow sometimes and half the time will just connect and not connect. Has anyone ever DLed any of those Internet Optimizers or found anything good to speed up the net. I'm on a cable modem wireless connection so part of it has to do with that. But I can tell when it won't let me on forever and the other computer is working. |

Punk, sounds like from what I saw that Dealhelper is a spyware program? Trojans and dialers and all that good stuff so many people are posting threads about.
Check out this link
If that doesn't do it, google or yahoo for dealhelper. Most of the hits that come up on the first page tell you what you need to do to get rid of it.
I don't know what run in you had or what steps you took to 'un-run in' but often times I'm finding that these removal programs leave bits behind that you have to manually get rid of yourself.

Yeah i've gotten rid of it and nothing can find anything else on my computer. Just everything to do with my connection has come to a standstill sometimes.
