Subject: AOL IM Problem

I went thru msconfig and reconfigured some programs that always unnecessarily start up when my computer boots.
I did this to AOL IM, but I have since used it and now it fires up upon start up all the time. I did msconfig again, used AOL IM again, and it keeps happening.
Is there anyway to stop this? |

It may be someone else and the duplication could be causing a problem. The typical place is the "programs/start up" folder. If it is there, delete it from there first, then change it in msconfig.

Open AIM and go to My AIM -> Edit Options -> Edit Preferences -> Sign On/Off category -> uncheck Start AIM when Windows Starts
