0 Subject: Tracking down foreign ISPs

One problem for me and my clients the last couple of years are foreign websites which pirate works (particularly poetry) and put them up on the Internet in huge databases of free poetry. Many are submission driven, so if you like a poem you just send it in and they post it.

Some popular poets might have complete books up on the web for the taking, without even source information to lead the readers to the original titles or others by that author.

Writing to the websites themselves generally gets met with, well, nothing. No reply at all. I'm thinking of working through their ISPs. Is there a way to track down the ISPs of websites?

For example, here's one registration for Americanpoems.com (verification needed).

Any help would be appreciated.

Shelling out to DOS and typing:

TRACERT AmericanPoems.com

It appears to be http://www.ev1.net

Thats my simple guess.
