Subject: Graph doesn't line up

The stats at player pages on baseball-reference.com don't line up when I acccess the site from my computer at home.
Player pages at ESPN and team pages at Yahoo and other sites look fine and baseball-refernce.com works fine from my work computer. But from this one it looks like simple text that doesn't line up and also I believe the font is different from what it should look like. Any ideas about what settings might have been changed? |

Font size? Screen resolution? Monitor size?
All can make a difference. As can several beers. ;)

What I mean to say is that the columns don't line up. But like I said, I can only find the issue at BR.

Also, some of the fonts here at Rotoguru are now different when I visit from that machine.

Did you reboot? You may just be running low on video card memory.

Find some of the text that looks odd, look at the html source, and see if you can determine what font is specified for that text. Perhaps that font is somehow messed up on your home machine.
I took a quick look at a stats page at baseball prospectus, and noticed that the Verdana font was specified. I also use that font on some RotoGuru pages (including this page). Perhaps your Verdana font is missing, or has somehow been overwritten by some other font?

Thanks, Guru, I'll check when I get home. Bili, I've rebooted several times since I first noticed the issue.

Giru Places at Rotoguru where fonts don't look right are the numbers in the margin next to each post and the lines below the message field, "Click here to create and insert a link" and "Ignore line feeds? no (typical) yes (for HTML table input)".
Also, all (I think) of the text on the "The following information will be posted:" page.
Is the same font specified for all of that text? What font is it?

Those particular text items have no specified font, which means that the default font specified in your browser should take over.
Check the font specifications under Internet Tools. Maybe that's where the problem lies.

So changing my fonts around did the trick. Strange thing tho is that I can't recreate the problem. I changed the configuration once and checked a player page at baseball-reference.com and the columns lined up as they should. Then I played around with various fonts in the two settings ('web page font' and 'plain text font'). When I returned them to the fonts that appeared to be related to the issue, baseball-reference stats columns still lined up fine. In fact, I believe they - Times New Roman and Courier New - are the default settings.
Anyway, thanks, issue appears solved.
