Ever since I installd firefox Mozilla and their java add-ons, I've had problems with java script. I ended up removing firefox and deleting all isntances of java on my system and re-downloading the latest release. Still, I'm having issues with java at times. Many times I can not see the live scoring on CBS Sportsline and in Firefox could not see many Yahoo features or any java at all. No one else in my baseball league is having this issue and once in awhile it works. Sometimes it's it's a java.null pointerexception other times it's does not itiate and other times like today just an error message and it won't load live scoring. Any ideas? |

Sometimes I can restart my computer and it will work, other times it takes several restarts for it to work properly.

Are you using Norton AV or internet security?

Had the same problem on my W2k machine, but once I uninstalled Norton and started using ZA antivirus and firewall suite, it ran fine.
Not sure if it is related or that you might have to tweak some settings, but just an observation.

Ref, if you are using Firefox I recommend using the NoScript extension. If you open a page with scripts running it blocks them all and you can choose which ones to allow. This works great on sites like Yahoo where you can allow Yahoo and block all of the ad scripts.
I also recommend AdBlock and Nuke Anything.
