I did all of that and got rid of my errors as far as SysTray was concerned..I've got the right cables hooked into the back of my motherboard for my headset..Pink for mic, and Black right next to it for headphones..
I can hear *perfectly* out of my headphones..but my mic just will not work..at all - anyone at all know how to resolve or may know what kind of issue i have? Im working with a D945Psn Intel Motherboard..I've tried troublshooting for days, im hoping to stumble across someone who knows *something*! |

Had the same problem with a headset I just bought (a cheap cyber accoustic model). Took the one from my job and it work good so I guess the mic on my new headset ain't working good on my computer.
I resolve my problem by using the mic of the QuickCam.
