Hey there all...

Hopefully someone can help me here, because my fantasy future hangs in the balance.

When I log into the Fantasy Yahoo stuff from my home computer, everything is fine until I try to go to "My Team", at which point the area that is supposed to list my roster and allow me to make changes stays all red.

Any thoughts on what the problem might be? From my work computer, everything is ok.

being red and all, it sounds like your home computer has an STD. he really oughta wrap that rascal when he goes out to play on a saturday night.

Yeah...it might be all messed up. Having the Windows CD, what is my best route to deleting the hard drive and starting all over? (I have backed up all the important stuff...)

Have you run anti-virus & anti-spyware software, just in case you're buggy? Can't hurt.

Yeah...I've run every program I can get my hands on, and to no avail. All of the programs pick up some garbage, but none seem to fix the problem.

Any help on how to reformat my computer? I have the original Windows CD, but I haven't cleaned off my hard drive in so long that I totally forget how to do it. I would love to do it tonight if someone can offer some help!

Thanks!

The Windows CD itself might have the option or wiping the drive.

I would see if you can re-install on the current drive first and see if that solves the problem. If not, then the disk should help you to wipe and then re-install Windows.

However, you will almost certainly have to go to Microsoft and get the security and other patches to upgrade.

Maybe you just want to wait a couple of weeks and upgrade to Vista?

Have you tried Firefox? Or any other browser?

i have this same problem. i use firefox, everything was fine, then suddenly yesterday I go to check my roster and the whole area where my team is supposed to be is just green. any javascript on any web page i go to does not function.

I'm clueless. I googled it and saw that a few others had the same problem but I don't see a solution.

under tools/prefs i have both java and javascript enabled. when I turn javascript off I can see my team page but it's the old style, and surfing the web without javascript isn't really an option.

I installed the opera browser and the javascript works just fine, BUT I HATE OPERA and I really want my firefox back.

someone want to take a stab at this? I reinstalled firefox and it didn't fix anything.
