0 Subject: odd browser things happening

lately, i've been having problems with firefox. i haven't uninstalled and re-installed yet, but that's probably what i'm going to do.

among symptoms:

i was unable to enter Yahoo draft rooms, or even run the tester. when i would, the browser would crash.

pulldowns tend to go UNDER the add that might be beneath them, rendering the pulldown unusable.

certain ads - like the Celebrity Cruise Lines ad at the top of this page at Frommers.com, don't ever disappear, despite rolling over it and clicking the "X" and such. it stays there, and anything under it is rendered unreadable.

ideas?

I don't use Firefox... is there an update of some sort you can check for? maybe scale back the security setting (i.e. allow pop-ups on a certain sites).

As far as the ads and hitting X and it not closing, I've seen that some - especially on the wrestling sites that are filled with that crap - they are very difficult to get out of your way. And then the "pop-unders" too, don't know how the heck they work, bu they suck too lol...

I just clicked your link and no pop-ups/pop-unders. I suggest you get a good adware program as I see 2/3 blocked on each page.

Tree, I use Firefox, and I just got prompted 2 days ago to update to a new version. Maybe that's what you need?

I found that connector you were looking for
Cindy, is this the thing you were looking for?
www.liangdianup.com/computeraccessories_1.htm

It's on the list of computer accessories and parts. They have the DVI video thing to convert that jap monitor to work with your other computer. Just about any other kind of wire adaptor, usb connectors, monitor extension wires, ps2 extention wires, and all kinds of female and male swap connectors and things that I think would help your shop. If that above link don't work then goto www.lducompany.com and click on computer accessories. Let me know if that is what you need and give me your email address again.
