I am doing the stats for our fantasy league and I cannot come up with a formula for my LookUp problem. Here is an example:
Sheet 1 Sheet 2 Column 1 Column 2 Column 1 Column 2 Helton .341 .341 ?
I use the large function for Sheet 2 Column 1 and I want a LookUp function to return the name in Sheet 2 Column 2. I collect the 3 highest AVG in Sheet 2 Column 1, so they will change and I want the Name in Sheet 2 Column 2 to change and correspond with the AVG.
I have tried messing with all the LookUp functions and the Match function, but no luck. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. |

you could add a column C to sheet 1 with "rank". The you can rank everyone's average. Actually, I guess you'd need to rank em in column A.
Then in Sheet 2, you can lookup the averages based on ranks 1, 2, & 3. (As long as there are no ties, you should be ok)
