I reinstalled XP and then reinstalled Direct X 9.0c. It ain't working right. I run the DxDir thing and it shows that some of the files are corrupt. Try to reinstall Direct X and it doesn't do anything, it sees that I have the most recent version in place.

Google "uninstall Direct X" and you get some advice from 2005 to use a program to uninstall it, but they want $20.

Other than reinstalling XP or Windows 7 when that comes out, is there anything I can do so I can watch ESPN 360 with a clear picture?

Are you using IE or Firefox. I can't get most of ESPN's widgets to work in Firefox so if there is one I want to watch I copy the link and fire up IE.

Did you try to go to control panel and uninstall DirectX? Or try installing DirectX again.

It's not a program you can uninstall. When you try reinstalling it, it doesn't let you as it sees that you already have the most recent addition installed.

I'm using Firefox and ESPN360 has worked in Firefox for me in the past. Picture is just as bad in IE.
