Last night my GF thought it was asking to update one of my drivers and now suddenly I have a thing under my Back, home and what not buttons saying "ViewPoint" on the right and then search the web and what not stuff. I ran adaware which usually picks up on these little tag along bars, but this one seems to be set in IE for now. Anyone else heard of it? |

Viewpoint works inconjunction with the newest AIM and AOL. Deleting may not allow those programs to run correctly.
Btw, that's how I found out about Viewpoint, I was adviced an update was available. Didn't update and still haven't. Jury still out on that one even though I do have the instructions somewhere in my mess on the desk to delete it. I haven't because Spybot hasn't had a problem with it so it stays for now.

It hasn't done anything, but just annoying for me to look at since i'm not used to it. Stupid Blue Bar!

Go to View/toolbars and uncheck it. Then you won't have to look at it anymore.

I searched my comp for viewmgr.exe and deleted it. AIM still running smoothly and I'm not so annoyed by it anymore.
